Dimension door clarification

Rules Questions

In the basic information section for dimension door's target, it states "You and touched objects and other touched willing creatures".

However, under the description, it states "you /can/ bring along objects as long as their weight doesn't exceed your maximum load."

Does this mean that you get to pick and choose objects to take with you up to your load limit? Or choose to disclude a character who is touching you and willing? This would suggest that if there were a circumstance where you were tightly bound to a chair and augmented dimension door with still spell, or the same situation and you had dimension door as a spell like ability, you could use this to teleport yourself, your armor, weapons, and other gear, but not the rope binding you or the chair.

So if I'm reading into this right, for my character who is a spell dancer, I can use my spell like ability of dimension door to escape any sort of physical binding, or maybe even a grapple, since there is no somatic component involved.

Yes, you can use dimension door (or similar) to escape from bindings or being grappled, provided you can cast it (you're not gagged, in a silence spell, in an antimagic field, etc). Even though it has no somatic or material component, you will still need to make an appropriate concentration check, though.

You always get to choose the targets of your spells - you're not required to target something or someone just because you're touching it.

So if I were in a spot where I could provoke an attack of opportunity, would I need to make a concentration check to avoid the AOO of DC 23, followed by a concentration check to cast while entangled (if appropriate) of dc 19, or the concentration check to cast while grappled of dc 14 + grappler's CMB?

Secondary, can you provoke an AOO from someone grappling you, or do I only need one concentration check in the case that the only guy near me is grappling me?

Yes to both of those. A grappling opponent is within reach, and you have to make all necessary concentration checks.

So normally this is one AoO you won't have to deal with (although there are exceptions).
