Homebrew interest check, [b] When the Dragons Ruled[ / b]

Sovereign Court

This is a champaign I'm thinking of where your characters are bonded to a dragon as a child. A whole dragon rider thing happening. I may/ may not actually get one up. It depends upon whether people find interest and if I get good feedback. I'm going to fit the dragons into a less element based (they all breath fire and resist fire) version. The players can also choose not to have a dragon for some other benefit that equals having a horse sized fire breathing lizard.

mmm sounds interesting. so I'm guessing classes with mount/compaion/familiars would be recomended?

Would the overall theme be a particular alignment, good or evil?

Definitely interested either way.

Sovereign Court

Well, classes will actually be limited. Mostly non-spellcaster.

Spell casters can play, but they will be the ones without dragons

The overall alignment is neutral. It may lean towards one end of the pole or the other.

Would these be homebrew dragons or standard dragons?

Count me in

Dragonrider

Sounds interesting

I'm interested. What level were you thinking?

Silver Crusade

I'm definitely interested. What rules for chargen?

Dragonrider

Exactly. Its well rounded at least.

I'd prefer that the dragon be a separate benefit instead of a class feature. If it's a class feature then we'll have a lot of similar characters. Of course if it's a gestalt game then we can all be dragonriders with something else.

Looking over the dragonrider, I'm not a fan of how they did it. I'm not sure why they get three favored saves. Plus the focus system seem to imply that for some choices you will be playing a dragon that happens to have a human-shaped backpack.

I've written the OP, this game won't be happening.
