Need help with a Catfolk Brawler or Skald.

Advice

Hi I am making a catfolk brawler, that uses catfolk claws and pounce feat.
Its a level 8, 25 point build. I want high str, dex, and con. She is a body builder catfolk. What feats do I need and that are great for this build?

If I make a catfolk skald I plan on using a Nodachi with keen.
Do I still want the catfolk pounce on the skald? I plan on taking skalds vigor and greater skalds vigor. What other feats do I want for my skald?

I plan on getting a belt of physical perfection.

What build should I go with?

For the brawler - I'd be tempted to go for Pummelling Charge which you can get at level 8, as I understand it the prereqs are supposed to parse as (BAB +12 or Brawler 8 or Monk 8) whereas for Claw Pounce the BAB +10 is a hard requirement. In any case a brawler wants feats which are good for prereqs, Combat Reflexes, Power Attack and/or Combat Expertise, maybe the base feat in a style or two. Power Attack/Cornugon Smash/Hurtful is a useful combo to have permanently (i.e. without martial flexibility on.)

The skald has 3/4 BAB and won't have Claw Pounce any time soon. As with a barbarian, being knocked out and losing your con bonus then dying is a danger. Lingering Performance may mitigate that danger. Power Attack/Cornugon Smash/Hurtful is even better for a skald, who's likely to have a decent charisma for the intimidate and who might have a relevant rage power. You can't get Greater Skald's Vigor until level 10.

Brawlers cannot use Natural Attacks with Brawler's Flurry, not even with Feral Combat Training...

Depending on your GM ruling that you can use Claw Blades along with Claw Pounce, then you could flurry with Claw Blades - and since you get TWF and such for free, it should be easy for you to even out your damage with a build that just uses Claw attacks.

Or... you could drop the Claw Pounce angle and just go with Pummeling Charge and Unarmed Strikes.

Anyway, if you go with Claw Blades, you probably want: Dodge, Weapon Focus/Specialization and then the Greater versions, Combat Expertise (since it opens a lot of Martial Flexibility options, also remember you don't need 13 INT for it) and Power Attack. Later on, Imp Critical and Critical Focus.

For the Skald... I honestly think a Skald would be AWESOME with Claw Pounce. The thing is that the Brawler, for example, at level 11, can have 4 attacks... so using natural weapons is less beneficial in the long run too.
A Skald at level 11 though, since he has 3/4 BAB, can only have 2 attacks, and one is at -5. So a natural weapon route, especially with claws, can grant this guy 2 attacks at full bab. There's many Rage Powers you can pick up to grow more natural weapons, and that can be an actual build you can make along with Multiattack to reduce the penalty on your secondary attacks.

Your Skald probably wants the feats listed by AVR. I am also a fan of using Song of People's Revolt attuned with Outflank.

For the Skald do I need certain natural weapon feats?

And these are my Skald's stats with a +2 Belt of Physical Perfection at 8th level. lvl ups 1 str., 1 dex. raging song not added in.

str.19
dex.15
con.16
int.14
wis.8
cha.16

do I want bluff or acrobatics?
And what rage powers do I want?

Weapon Focus for sure, Power Attack and Claw Pounce probably make up for the rest of needed feats.

Catfolk Exemplar probably helps... raising the damage from 1d4 to 1d6 is not that exciting but its serviceable (+1 average damage per attack)... getting extra speed might be worth it too.

For Rage Powers... it depends on whether you are using Unchained or not. Accurate Stance and its subsequent powers if you are; Reckless Abandon and Inspire Ferocity if you aren't.

Spirit Totem line is probably good too.

for the skald do I want two weapon fighting?
And where can I find these feats Cornugon Smash/Hurtful?

what weapon enchantments do I want? There is gonna be a lot of clockworks.

I have picked some feats.
Catfolk Exemplar
weapon focus claws
scalds vigor
two weapon fighting

I have been working on my character all day and i am waiting on you all to post.

do I want to use claws or a reach weapon?

Can someone make a list of what feats go where?

We aren't all in American time zones, you know. Have patience.

Cornugon Smash
Hurtful

As a skald you hopefully have friends in combat with you, which means a reach weapon is nice to have. Also easier on the feats.

Suggested feat order:
1: Lingering Performance or Skald's Vigor
3: Power Attack
5: Hurtful
7: Cornugon Smash

What book is the feats hurtful and Cornugon smash is in?

They should be attributed on the bottom of the linked pages.

TWF does nothing for you if you are using Claw attacks. You only get two attacks at maximum BAB and nothing else.

This is usually good for 3/4 BAB classes.
