Magus and Kobolds - Why is everything complicated?

Rules Questions

Okay I have a few questions regarding Magus, Kobolds, and their interactions.

1. Can a Magus do a Spellstrike with a Tail Weapon?

2. Can a Magus do Spell Combat with a Tail Weapon?

3. Can a Blackblade be a Tail Weapon?

4. Do Tail Weapons get iteratives?

4. No.

Kobold tail attachments augment the tail slap natural attack.

There IS a Magus that can use natural attacks, but I can't remember what it is, right meow.

after a quick google most of the people agree that kobold tail attachments are manufactured weapons and no longer a natural attack which means the answer to all your questions is yes.

up until i read the following i was going to say it's a natural weapon. then i saw this:
"Tail attachments can be constructed of special material and made into masterwork or magic items." (including the above that named them light weapons) this make zero sense in natural weapons (there are no masterwork natural weapons\items). so yea. i think we can call it up as manufactured weapon and end it. (the same as the catfolk clawblades)

Yes, all Spellstrike requires is a melee attack with a weapon, and in the "manufactured weapon, unarmed strike, or nautral weapon" meaning of the term.

No. Spell Combat requires using a hand to attack, confirmed by this FAQ,

"A black blade is always a one-handed slashing weapon, a rapier, or a sword cane". All Kobold Tail Attachements are Light Melee Weapons, and thus don't qualify.

Yes. The text about "augment his natural attack" appears to be flavor text/explanatory text, and the actual rule text says "Tail attachments are light weapons". Thus, they behave like other manufactured weapons, which includes iterative attacks.
