Assign Pathfinder classes to university majors!


Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion


Let's see if we can match up all of them! Maybe even with archetypes.


hm.wizards = engineering, sorcerers = poli sci, fighters = sports science, rogues = finance, bards = performing arts, monks = one of the pure sciences like math or physics, barbarian = childhood education, ranger = landscape architecture, druid = forestry, hm, there may be others, but that's all I can think of for now.

I am rigth behind you and i think in PF the skills i have with me from Uni is best not spred out in more than two. Profession(scholar) and knowledge(history),


Paladin = Junior Lawyer
Antipaladin = Senior Lawyer

;)

I know antipaladin are CE and it doesn't really work but we don't have a Lawful Evil equivalent

LE Inquisitor = Senior Lawyer


Druid would be Biology, and Ranger would get Forestry.

Alchemist: Chemistry
Inquisitor: Theology
Magus: Engineering, he would later go on to design high tech sports articles.
Arcanist: Theoretical Physics
Barbarian: Quit college and went on to become a top athlete
Investigator: Forensic Science
Cleric: Internal Medicine
Slayer: Surgical Medicine
Shaman: Alternative Medicine

Some business fields...

The Diviner: Marketing
The Illusionist: Advertising.
The Necromancer: Management, Human Resources.
The Transmuter: Finance
The Abjurer: Business Law.


Bard - Liberal Arts?


Alternative Medicine: Rogue with Counterfeit Mage archetype
Anything ending with Studies: Bard with Demagogue or Diva archetype
Athlete majoring in Communications because they have to pretend to be there for acdaemic reasons: Barbarian

Tiny Toons as envisioned by Tolkien. The PCs could even play "kid" versions of the Iconics, with their own personal twists.
