Looking for Season 6 Scenarios with Numerian Tech

Unlike a significant portion of the player base, I love the idea of mixing high technology with high fantasy. I'm looking forward to playing several PFS sessions at Paizocon, and I'd like to sign up for as many Numerian technology scenarios as possible. Based on the Season 6 scenario descriptions, I'm guessing that the following scenarios might contain high tech elements. Can anyone confirm or deny some of my guesses? Are there any I missed?

6-01
6-02
6-03
6-12
6-14
6-16
6-17
6-20

I built an Investigator specifically to be "Mr. Technology" in Year 6. He is attempting to get all the ACs with tech on them, as well.

Answered in a PM.

Thank you.

Spoilered post for the rest of us tech-based characters?

I don't think this falls in the same scope as "Chronicle fishing".

I just want to use my Technologist feat.

Let's see if the powers that be disagree with you.

Spoiler:

I am aware of the following as far as tech items appearing on ACs.

6-01 - Yes
6-02 - Yes
6-03 - Yes
6-04 - No
6-05 - No
6-06 - No
6-07 - No
6-08 - No
6-09 - Yes, but I have not been able to confirm this yet
6-10 - No
6-11 - No
6-12 - No
6-13 - Unknown
6-14 - No
6-15 - Unknown
6-16 - No
6-17 - Unknown, but highly likely

There are also at least 2 Year 6 boons you can get that can help you with technological items.

Also, I believe there are some levels of The Emerald Spire Superdungeon where the Technologist feat is useful. And, of course, there is Iron Gods adventure path.

Also useful for all of the "Not in my fantasy!" players.

Makes me wonder if they had put a "Technology" warning label on appropriate Year 6 adventures they might have gotten a lot less objections from that crowd.

Granted, the outcry was mostly about Trial by Machine and Silver Mount Collection and those two tell you what they are about on the tin.

Or not. Atteisti didn't know what the "Silver Mount" was. His fighter kept checking the rooms for any mounts. A kingdom for a silver horse!

Well, I meant just a list of which scenarios had tech *in* them, not which ones had tech items on the Chronicles.

But I guess that works, too.

So far it has been pretty much the same thing unless you want to count pieces of the Sky Key, in which case there would currently be two more.

6-09 - I can confirm this one.
6-17 - Yes as well.

For those looking to play Emerald Spire:
I can confirm that there is no technology in the first 10 floors of Emerald Spire. Anything that may (or may not) appear as technology is just good old magical innovation.

Though I have not thoroughly read beyond the 10th floor, yet.

Other than the several encounters that can easily TPK an unprepared group?

+the Technologist fiasco. That scenario has a reputation for a good reason.

Even having Technologist still didn't help us when I played it. We had like 2 ppl left standing by the end.

If anything, being able to make the Knowledge checks only told us how screwed we were =\

Shadow Lodge 4/5

We just ran away. Glad some of us had the gold to re-equip for the return or that would have been it. We just lost one PP and tons of health. Probably soiled some pants too.

Yeah, I am disappointed they didn't at lease give a Technologist the opportunity to repair the Hazmat container.

Spoiler:
We only had one pc death from the robots, but we were unable to defeat the plasm. We had no viable AoE or swambane clasps to effect the swarm. We were able to get it to leave the kid, and we grabbed the kid and ran. Only one prestige, but we got out mostly intact. Still we all felt bad for the death.
Scarab Sages

I played this with my channeling based Life Oracle. Having Life Link and Channel, without being able to identify the thing as humanoid allowed my group to get both PP and the boon.

One of my fondest memories was that final battle, and the line from the Barbarian.

"Okay, it's your turn, what do you do."
"I rage"
"Okay, then what"
"I withdraw"

Yes, the barbarian literally rage quit. (He was down to zero hit points, and needed to get his HP up to positive numbers so he wouldn't hit the bottom of the stairs and bleed out.)

We got half way through the encounter, and 2/3 of the party ran away, while the (Witch and cleric? I think?) stayed to buy them time, and wound up soloing what was left..

Scarab Sages

Thanks, all. This will help my Paizocon planning quite a bit.

Re: Iron Gods - Yeah, I'd love to play in it, but I don't know anyone setting up to run it in my local area. Playing the technology-affected Season 6 scenarios is basically the next best thing.

Spoiler:
Ouch. My party nearly TPK'ed in the first encounter, several of us dropped for a moment and our cleric used every single channel/spell for healing during the fight, and the damn thing took 2 hours on its own.

We played defensively after that and managed to handle the second floor encounters with very little trouble. In the final fight we eventually finished that thing off after several of us had been dropped by team mates after infestation, then getting picked back up with the cleric holding a wand of CLW. It was luck that none of us died. Playing up in that one is murderous, I think we consumed over 4k total in expendables.

Dark Archive 4/5

A solidly built gray skinned brute notices you mirin', flexes mightily and taps the laser pistol holstered next to a cold iron cleaver. The movement opens his ragged rain cloak slightly and you suddenly notice the multitude of adamantine spikes spread over his chainmail in an expanding whorl pattern

Remember kids, when the big, bad bots bite, just hug'em!

In reply to your spoiler:
I played through #6-19, and did not encounter any Technology, though it was a hasty run by an ill-prepared GM, so we may have skipped something. There is a Sky Key Component found at the end, but from my POV we never interacted with it.

Okay, what is "Chronicle fishing", and why is this a bad thing?

blackbloodtroll wrote:

There is probably no exact definition, but basically it boils down to:

You found out what was on the chronicle sheet for this scenario.
You purposely picked a character that will be able to use X from the chronicle sheet.
I didn't get it on my character that would have wanted it without GM'ing it (or unlikely random chance).
You're cheating.
Wah!!!

Already started a thread on it here.
