Keen Rapier +3

Rules Questions and Gameplay Discussion

Other rapiers (basic, Disrupting) add 4 to the difficulty of the check for those without weapon proficiency. The Keen Rapier +3 (Bard and Rogue Class Decks) does not. Should it?

Predicting Vic and Mike's response. Something along the lines of it certainly should followed by a FAQ instruction to add it. :)

There isn't a hard and fast rule that everything that's similar will have similar traits. Remember the discussion with Chad and Mike about Shock Longbow +1?

But since the rules of PFRPG rarely eliminate the Weapon Proficiency requirement, it's probably supposed to require it. The Keen modifier doesn't (that's the modifier on d4 crits)

Aye, I remember the Shock Longbow +1. It was one of my questions (on this forum), and helped me to understand the point you make.

Yeah, that. (It's also in S&S 5.)

D'oh. I noticed it a while ago, but was hoping it was a purposeful exception that Meliski could use. (I've only gotten him through Adventure 1, so no wasted card upgrade or anything)

Meliski cries a little inside. :)

Added to S&S, Bard and Rogue.

Aaand, there goes a good part of why I added a weapon slot to my OP Meliski. Ah, well.
