Where would we be, seriously, without flies, maggots, bacterium, and all manner of vermin? Can you imagine the head on Noah's arc without flies to assist? Can you imagine how horrid landfills would be without the various noble creatures that diligently digest the refuse?

This is my concept for a blight druid. She does not seek to preserve the wastelands. She does not promote the blight. Rather, she honors that microbial and vermin population that takes care of all the s#!t we normal folk don't even care to think of. More, she goes so far as to tend to these creatures where needed to ensure proper degradation of the wastes.

Kind of akin to the Sewer Urchin (from the Tick).

Anyhow, the major wishes:

1) A proper familiar. Right now, I am thinking it should most definitely be a scorpion or vermin as those are the token vermin on the list of familiars. Likely a scorpion as I tend to think of rats as potential pets. A plague rat with all sorts of scabby mottled skin might do though.

2) PFS legality. I want this to be a PFS character down the road.

3) Some major evil channeled for good type abilities that fit the above described character concept.

4) help selecting the other domain.

5) Thoughts on Gnome as the main base. I love gnomes. I can't help it. I just do.

Thats about all I have. Later tonight I will try to post what I come up with, hopefully having incorporated some amazing Advice Board insight into the finer details of Druidism.

The Blight Druid is actually exactly what you're looking for.

You can get a familiar or normal domains plus Darkness, Death, and Destruction.

All kinds of creepy stuff.

1) You want a familiar, not an animal companion? Well, there are 2 ways for you to go this way.

Blighter taking the familiar option there

Or

Skill Focus (ANY KN) - Eldritch Heritage

Personally, if going with a gnome or half elf, the eldritch heritage path is the one I would choose.

2) Blighter and Eldritch Heritage are both PFS legal.

3) Not sure, the Blighter can Vermin Empathy swarms, undead bears etc.

4a) Darkness: BLIND FIGHT as a BONUS FEAT. That is all for that domain
4b) Destruction: Kinda meh, but RAGE subdomain. Who does not like a raging Trex?
4c) Destruction/Catastrophe: Be the oncoming storm.
4d) Death: Healing from negative energy? Yes Please.

5) Gnome is alright, not my favorite race (mine is actually Elf or Half Elf) however, you could have some fun times. ER via FCB, CHA bonus for Eldritch Heritage, Small Size.

I have a Blight Druid in PFS now. My favorite part of every scenario is walking around the table making sure everyone is making fort saves vs. the Miasma so they won't be affected during the scenario.

Blight druids get either a familiar or a domain. I recommend the domain unless you plan on getting an Improved Familiar. The extra spells can really help.

Death domain has a lot of fun abilities and you can probably swap out the animate dead options for the other dead spells if you want, though having a necromantic druid would be amusing.

Darkness domain isn't bad. Battlefield control, Save or Suck plus versatility of the Shadow conjuration spells provides you with a lot of options on the fly. Summon shadows? in the right encounter you can just fire and forget these guys and watch them when an encounter.

Gnomes do not make good druids. Treat this as a challenge if you want to play one but in general the primary stat for a druid is wisdom. Dwarf druid works great. Human/Half Elf/Half Orc also not bad. Grippli really amusing. Especially with vermin empathy around lunchtime.

Look for spells that really enhance the blight motif. One of my favorites is Explosion of Rot 10' rad. fireball of decay that specifically effects undead and constructs as well and just owns plants.

Even if the +2s were that important, gnomes' bonuses are pretty good for this druid. Charisma helps Empathy—handy when handling tricky vermin—and Constitution is always good, especially when wild shaping.
