So i just recently put the special ability (enchantment, whatever its called) on my dervish scimitar and im LOVING it. I was wondering though. Since it has such an advantage on basically "atk" if it would be too greedy to pass up making it +5 or even +4 for more enchants for dmg since i dont need the extra atk and the enchants usually do more dmg.
What do u think should i always +5 or can i be greedy and get away with a 3-7 ratio (enhancement:special abilities) Bc i have such a bonus to atk bc of brilliant energy ignoring armor and shield

Its all fun and games until you run into a construct or undead.
Honestly, brilliant energy is a really poor choice unless you are really sure that your main foes will only be humanoids. Most monsters just use natural armor and some, like undead and constructs are completely immune to you weapon so you have spent a lot of money on a weapon that doesn't help you against a fair number of foes and actually hurts you against others.

Going with more enchants is generally the favored move. That said, Brilliant Energy costs +4 and gets wrecked by natural armor. If you're hitting just fine, go with Holy Vicious or whatever you want.
It's also utterly nullified by constructs and undead.

What you've got there is a little toy called an "NPC Slayer." Against such terrible foes, you get a bonus of generally from +4 to up to +20 to hit, depending on how geared out they are.
Against all other foes, Brilliant does nothing.
Against constructs and undead, Brilliant reduces your ability to harm the enemy to 0.
i.e. congrats, you basically have a highly situational weapon, akin to having "Bane: Armor wearing opponents."
Against such enemies, it is terrifically strong.
Against anyone else...right.
So, your next step should be to start getting another weapon to use against anything other then NPC's.
If you want the bonus for your Brilliant weapon to be higher, put an Oil of Greater Magic Weapon on it, or have a caster toss a spell on it. Don't spend any more money on that weapon unless you've a specific purpose for it.
I made up a dagger in my campaign that was Mithral +1 Brilliant Anarchic Humanbane Keen Defending, called Liberty. It was forged with exactly one ideal: To Kill Hellknights. Did the job incredibly well, too. Their fancy armor was utterly useless against it, so much so they could put the entire bonus to defense without a problem and still cut through them easily.
As a simple weapon, it could be used by ANYONE. Heh.
