Guild poisoner prestige class

Advice

I just noticed this PrC. It looks fairly solid to my tainted eye, especially with the ability to increase the DC's of poisons and mix poisons. Had anyone played with one?

I haven't played it, but at a glance it doesn't solve the problem that poisons are weak and hideously overpriced.

To solve this, the class would need to give the ability to apply a free poison with a scaling DC x/day, or something similar. Kind of like how the alchemist gets decent alchemical weapons and potions in the form of bombs and extracts.

Sovereign Court

The actual character class is Daggermark Poisoner. d20PFSRD can't use Golarion-based names so it tries to find a close substitute.

Liberty's Edge

Haven't played with one, but barring extensive house-rules, poison is going to be a very expensive and inefficient use of resources, even with the Daggermark Poisoner's abilities.

As an aside: in a home game, where the players are all part of a ninja clan, I allow Rogues, Ninjas, and Alchemists to take a Toxic Trick as a talent/trick/discovery, and Treacherous Toxin (Ex) as a master trick/advanced talent/discovery with a requirement of 10 levels of alchemist. The home game also house-ruled the costs of poisons down by 80%.

With the houserules, the abilities are pretty viable and come up on occasion - the party alchemist in particular will frequently use poison. This allows the classic trope of knockout darts on the lone guard to actually work in the Pathfinder system above level 3. Note the number of houserules required to make it work, though.
