Uncommon Commoners: The Broken Line of... well, Adventures, really. Any help finding them?

Product Discussion

From my understanding, Uncommon Commoners: Fish Sticks is supposed to be part one of seven.

In looking, however, I can only find two, four, and five.

Looking at my Fish Sticks PDF, it seems it was copy-written in "2013, 2014" which seems to indicate late in 2013 and early in 2014 - thus, it's possible that six and seven don't exist yet.

... but what about number three? Is there a reason that PDF is no longer available? It makes it rather difficult to complete the set/run the adventures...

I mean, my search results technically include unavailable products, so I'm just kind of confused.

Anyone know why this is?

Can't help you with #6 or #7, but #3 The Way of the Hoof can be had from rpgnow.com

I've never seen those before. How are they?

I don't have any of them. Tacticslion?

Hah! I have the first one and am not sure if I or my wife is going to be the one running them... but from what I'm aware of, they seem decent, and well-run/balanced.

I am aware that there are a bunch of joke names, and special feats to go with the joke characters. (The strongest of the bunch was an awakened donkey.) Each of the joke characters had story written into their nature, from what I understand.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand that's about all I know. Sorry I can't be of more help!

EDIT: I was kind of hoping to get the whole series before getting into it. I was also hoping they were all available from Paizo. Alas.

I asked about #3 in the product discussion of #2. Maybe the author will answer there...

His products need some reviews. Did you see his blog? He has some free web enhancements available, maps and hero lab files mostly.

Thanks!

His amazon author profile is interesting:

Spoiler:
Michael LaBossiere is a guy from Maine who went to school in Ohio and ended up a philosophy professor in Florida.

While acquiring his doctorate in philosophy at Ohio State University, he earned his ramen noodle money by writing for GDW, TSR, R. Talsorian Games, and Chaosium. After graduate school, he became a philosophy professor at Florida A&M University. His first philosophy book, What Don't You Know?, was published in 2008. He continues to write philosophy and gaming material. He is also a blogger, but these days who isn't?

When not writing, he enjoys running, gaming and the martial arts. Thanks to a quadriceps tendon tear in 2009, he was out of running for a while, but returned to the trails and wrote a book about it, Of Tendon & Trail.

Anything else on this? I'm kind of curious.

EDIT: Hm, in his comments, he says he doesn't know... hold on for a few...

New thread, and Liz is already looking into it! :D

I'm the author of the Uncommon Commoner adventures. In my Paizo account, #3 and #4 show up along with #1,#2 and #5. When I found that they were not appearing on the site, I updated them and included the comment that they were not appearing. This resulted in no change.

#6 (Fighta Club) and #7 (Baked Bads) are mostly complete. All the stats are done, all the maps are done, all the encounters are complete and so on. What remains is a full revision of the text, the interior art and the cover.

#1-5 are also available at DriveThruRPG.

Once I get #7 done, I'll put together the Collected Uncommon Commoners. I have a dream of doing a deluxe edition with custom art by a pro, perhaps Phil Foglio (when dreaming, dream big).

WOO~! I look forward to it! :D

Here is what appears in my Paizo account for #3

PZOPDFMCLUCCWOTHOOFE Uncommon Commoners #3: The Way of the Hoof (PFRPG) PDF~

I'll try updating it again and see if that "clears" the clog.

I just updated it-I reloaded the cover and the PDF.

I have to know, does the first adventure include any references to custard?

Thanks for looking into it!

I'm not able to find it yet, but with you and Liz working together, I think it might just get fixed!

Thank you!

There is a tragic lack of custard references in Fish Sticks. But, perhaps Book 7 Baked Bads will rectify this glaring omission.

Yes!

I'm very good at talking out my... donkey.

EDIT: What? He's an awakened donkey, and I play him! It's a totally legitimate, definitely not-contrived-to-sound-bad turn of phrase!

Guess what's miiiiiiiiiiiiii~iiiiiiiiinnnnnnnne~! :D

Looking forward to some reviews or play reports for this line...

... when I can. :/

The sixth adventure, Fighta Klub, is now available. I'm now working on finishing up the finishing adventure, Baked Bads.

Sweet! I've not gotten the last two, yet, but very much so looking forward to it!

Still not a single review on any of his products on Paizo..
