Kata Master Swashbuckler Question

Rules Questions

Kata Master lets you use Unarmed Strike as a weapon for some of the Swashbucklers deeds. If I took this Archetype and then multiclassed into Swashbuckler could I use the other deeds with my unarmed strike?

No it's only for deeds gained through the archetype. Snake Style will allow you to make piercing attacks unarmed, which will work with the Swashbuckler deeds.

I want to say yes because that sounds cool. But the Monk's panache ability reads "for granted swashbuckler class features and deeds". Highlight on the "granted"which makes me belive it only works for the abilities gained through the archetypes

Scarab Sages

It only works on the deeds granted by Kata Master. Any other deed gained from actual swashbuckler levels or any other source that grants deeds do not apply, and have to meet the actual requirements of the deed.

As mentioned, Snake Style, Boar Ferocity, and Hamatulatsu allow you to treat your unarmed strikes as piercing and thus work with swashbuckler deeds.

For a more murky solution, you can use a cestus or emei piercer to change your unarmed strike's damage type to piercing. Note, you are not actually using these as a weapon. You weapon is your unarmed strike, and any materials or enchantments on this will not apply, you are only using it for the line that it changes unarmed strike damage to piercing.
