So I'm wondering how things work if you go half-orc with the toothy race option when the draconic bloodline bite kicks in?
Do you just take the better of the two or do they combine for something better?
Any insight would be helpful.

It would be the better of the two.
Draconic bloodline gives claws, not a bite. Dragon Disciple gets a bite attack when he manifests his claws. In that case you would use the better of the two when both apply (you can run out of rounds of the DD's attacks).
