Tabletop Simulator Pathfinder: Villains of Huma campaign

Recruitment

Liberty's Edge

Hello everyone this is my first time running an online game, but here it goes. If you want to play it is a prerequisite that you own a copy of Tabletop Simulator as all combats and dice rolling will be run through it. Click here for more information about Tabletop Simulator Characters can not be Good aligned. Ability scores will be rolled for as 4d6 drop low. The campaign setting will be one of my own creation.
There are currently four player slots open. Please leave below a basic concept for your character including class and race and a short bio if you are interested in joining. Resources for character creation are limited to the PFRD and Shadowsfall. The campaign setting is still in development so feel free to make up your own names for the city or country that you come from, or a historical figure.
Rules are including, but not limited to:
No asking for point buy
No stealing from or backstabbing other players
No going to the plane of Everglow. I know I put it on my map of the multiverse, but it's off limits.
If you have anymore questions please ask them in a reply to this thread separate from your character concept.

I'm in.

How about a Drow Assassin. A former member of an elite assassins and thieves guild, Delrath stepped out of line and was striped of rank and equipment, and was to be executed. A daring and dashing escape put him on the run, and forced him to make a fresh start.

Figuring if I swap out Spell-like abilities for Darklands Stalker, gives good reason why he was able to escape.

Male or female character?

How? What did he do that made him an enemy of his own assassin's guild?

My world has two assassin guilds that operate topside, the crimson daggers and the black lotuses. Would Delrath be a part of one of these, or a separate guild that operates only in the darklands?

UPDATE: Two players decided that they wanted to make custom races. One is so weird that I highly doubt that a second one exists in the universe, and the other is a race of dragon people called the Umbradovah. If you also want to make a custom race using the race builder rules from ARG you can.

Sure, I can play my Vishkanya masochist.

Could I persuade you to allow 1's and 2's rerolled for the ability scores? or at least 1s

What limit are you holding on RP?

I have an Idea for a race, but it requires regeneration, which is not an option per ARG by default. Would you either allow me to use it with a # of RP you decide, or allow me to make a template to put on my character?

Also are you allowing gestalt?

Liberty's Edge

You cannot reroll 1s for ability scores, however you do get to roll seven times and take the best six ability scores.
20 RP
No regeneration
No templates
No gestalt
I don't want you to be more powerful than the other players. I want you all on equal footing.

Number IX, please stop before you break the thread...

ok

Is your game still open Zmanpwnsdaleks? I would be interested since my in RL Pathfinder game is having problems meeting. I have one Pathfinder game on Tuesdays via Google Hangout/Roll20 and one Rifts game a month on Sundays, but that's it.

If we're looking at evil characters, then what gods are available? Normal Pathfinder/Golarion gods, one of your own choosing, one we design?

Liberty's Edge

The pantheon still has yet to be made, so one of your design would most likely be accepted, and yes there are still two player positions open.

Ok. Sign me up as the evil cleric/druid/oracle dooby. What's the campaign environment like? Is the entire world under darkness or is it the typical patches of evil, good and neutrality? Do deities manifest themselves or do they just act through extraplanar minions and their priests?

Liberty's Edge

The world has a few patches of evil and good with most areas being neutral- I don't want to say warzones, but there is conflict between the alignments within the neutral areas. Deities stick to their respective planes and mostly don't care too much about the goings on of the world, but will help out those who are wholeheartedly devoted to them and their ideals. Outsiders are seen less as minions to the gods, and more as subjects that the gods rule over. It is worth noting that lately a small nation has taken over much of the world and built an empire due to their advanced technology. (guns and airships)Also around 50% of the world's sentient inhabitants are humans.
Don't forget, I still need a bio for your character.

welcome to the gang Stormcrow

Liberty's Edge

Number IX, He's not in the gang yet. He still needs to post his character concept.

http://www.novareinna.com/guard/morrigan.html

I present my submission for an evil, though necessary goddess, the Morrigan. She is the Celtic goddess of fate, war, death, night, and witches (as per traditional and NeoPagan practices of witchcraft, not satanic). She also represents the Crone aspect of the Triumvirate that all women go through (Maiden, Mother, Crone), and the 4th aspect of Warrior, especially in cultures that have a heavy influence of war maidens. Her favored symbol is the raven, and she is also the goddess of rivers, fresh water, and battle frenzy.

She often manifests as a banshee in the form of Neam, representing the terror and frenzy of war, Badb Catha, the battle crow who harvests the souls of the dead and selects those who will succeed in warfare, and Macha, the plain, as in the sovereignty of kings and land.

AL NE (Could be argued that she is CN given the rather chaotic nature of warfare, but neutral evil works as well)
Domains Darkness (Subdomain Night), Luck (Subdomain Fate), Madness (Subdomain Insanity), Nobility (Subdomains Aristocracy, Leadership), War (Subdomains Blood and Tactics), and Water (Subdomain Rivers)

Favored Weapon Longsword (Celts were horse cavalry and sword specialists, plus the sword represents the weapon of the noble warrior)

Character Bio
Name Scail
Race Fetchling
Class Cleric
Domains Night (subdomain of darkness) and War

Bio: Scail was born on the plane of Shadow to a small cult of Morrigan worshippers. They celebrated her reign over night and the rememberance of her union with the plane of Shadow to produce her favored people, the People of the Shadow, or fetchlings. The cult leads their members in the belief that embracing the shadow is divine, and that when sunlight fades from the multiverse, the Shadow Plane and Morrigan will rise to rule over all. They expose infants to the areas that border old battlefields and terrible massacres on the shadow plane, hoping that the goddess will smile upon their newborn children and grant them victory over the foul power of the sun. If a child doesn't fade but instead retains their inner light, they are sacrificed in the name of the goddess and their essence bled into the plane. At a younge age Scail was found to be able to channel the fury and the wisdom of the goddess whispered in the echoes of the night. After learning the ways of the Babd Catha, Scail was sent to the material plane to gain experience in dealing with the foes of night, and to gather strength to spread the Morrigan's blessing of war, madness, and night to an unsuspecting world.

character Bio
name: doesn't Have one
alignment: NE
Race: xe is the spawn of a Pleroma (three fingers per hand and feet)
Class: Void-touched Sorcerer
Brief history: Orphaned as a child because king of Esperoto thought I was abomination and a bastard. learned make naturally.
Appearance: like Pleroma but with leg and see the hood and cap are part of the body. has sizable red nebula across left half of face, a large blue star being sucked into a black hole across the part of his chest where a heart should be, has a small clusters of planets along spine(or cape), has red star visible form both sides of his right hand, has small white stars going down left leg, has a quasar running through place were belly button would be starting from right shoulder and going to left hip(roughly), where his right eye would be is a small silvery looking gas cloud, across the rest of his body is mostly void with occasionally small purple and blue and red and green nebula's scattered around.

I might tap in a specialized summoning list for the Morrigan as well, based on creatures of shadow, etc.

Liberty's Edge

I think giving a deity more than two names will get confusing. Other than that Morrigan sounds like a good fit as the goddess of war and darkness. Scail sounds like a really silly name, but that's just my opinion. Consider yourself a part of the group. Please send me a PM with your skype username.

They're just aspects of the Morrigan, similar to how God is called the Holy Spirit and/or Christ is part of the triumvirate for the greater whole of the Christian version of the Abrahamic/Judeo-Christian god. For example, Zeus had many names and titles such as the Lord of Olympus, Zeus Trithereon, and so on. In Pathfinder, Gozreh is a dual natured god/goddess of fire and earth, and water and air.

Scail is Gaelic for shadow. It fits as a name for a group of matriarchal based Celts that sojourned to the Plane of Shadow. I'll probably use the variant channeling rules from Ultimate Magic for the Darkness Domain, which only does half the usual damage but allows me to drop light conditions down in the area by 1 step or more based on my class levels. Good for stealth and enabling the ability to see in darkness. So a couple of other questions?

Where are we starting? Underground, in a tavern, in a bunker, as prisoners, running from the law? And why are we meeting? Who are the major heroes that opposed us? What are we going to be doing?

Liberty's Edge

You're called to the Black Dragon tavern about a job to kill the king of the small country of Esperoto. Some characters are doing it because they hate the king, and others are just doing it for the money. The story will unfold from there. Would Scail have a reason to be doing this?

I am kill the king for many reasons

Scail's reason would be divinely inspired. Only her people should be able to conquer the world, not an upstart kingdom that has no divine guidance or respect for the dark. A mission from her goddess to demand the king's head would be an excellent start on her rise in the church of the Morrigan.

Liberty's Edge

I would not describe Esperoto as "an upstart kingdom." However "light worshiping kingdom" would apply.
Still need that private message with your skype name if you want to play.

Already sent.

Liberty's Edge

Bump for good luck.

Are we still on, or waiting for another player?
