Sczarni

So we are finally getting a group together to run through Eyes of the Ten here in San Antonio with the first half of part 1 this Saturday.

5 member party
Lvl 12 fighter (me)
Lvl 12 Magus
Lvl 12 Monk of the 4 Winds (Acid damage I think)
Lvl 12 Rogue (could play his alchemist instead)
Lvl 12 ??? (Hasn't listed on Warhorn)

Part 1 (1st half) set for this Saturday and will continue for a 3 to 4 month run. Wish us luck.

Good luck! Eyes has a complex plot with many twists and turns along the way, I recommend taking notes and thinking creatively when faced with some of the challenges presented before you. Hopefully you have as much as I did when I played through it!

Have a lot of fun, take your time while playing to delve into the plot as much as possible. I just finished running part 1 and looking forward to starting running part 2 soon.

I second Walter's suggestion of taking lots of notes, and thinking creatively. Eyes can be quite challenging at times, and my group has made many encounters much easier by thinking outside the box.
They have:
Monk/Cleric/Ranger/Fighter dervish dance trip flurry with a scimitar
Cleric/Wizard/Mystic Thurge early entry
Str based Ninja
Wind Oracle

Most importantly enjoy yourselves!

Enjoy! It is quite entertaining and fun.

The backstory and overall plotline is excellent, try to get into it as much as possible.

I suggest doing the faction missions for each part if you have time. They add quite a bit to the immersion.

Try not to die!

Failing that, try not to die repeatedly!

Shadow Lodge 4/5

I'm getting ready to run part II on Monday and by Grudd is the latter half up my alley. So nasty and who doesn't love a [redacted] BBEG?

Dark Archive

Best of luck to you!

The group I'm running with, known locally as "Caiden's Crew Plus Two", is presently halfway through EotT and we've been having a blast - we're looking to marathon parts three and four in a couple of weeks.

Score! My group is six sessions away, with everyone at least 10th level now thanks to Tower of the Ironwood Watch catching the 9th level straggler up.

My Party Makeup:

Kevror, 10th level Half-elf Wild Shadow Ranger.
Elfira, 11th level Gnome Fire Domain Druid
Dorian "Pyro" Warden, 10th level Human Alchemist
Charlie Henderson, 10th level Gnome Bard/Barbarian/Dragon Disciple

May your table be as fun and exciting as I expect mine to be!

Sczarni

Thanks everyone. The small concern going in might be healing since everyone is playing some sort of beat stick. If the person playing the rogue plays his alchemist instead, we should have at least the ability to use clw wands. As for the rest of us, we each only have 1 character at lvl 12.

Oh my goodness, Eyes of the Ten was SO MUCH FUN! I hope you have a great time with it!

Judging by your party make-up, you guys will do just fine! Just don't let anything overwhelm you. That's to only spoiler-free tip I can provide. ^.~*

Sczarni

Oh, my fighter has seen enough in his travels that it might take something rare indeed to surprise and overwhelm him.

He may be a fighter and not look like much but he can say "I come in peace, you shall leave in pieces" in about 9 or so different languages among a few other things.

I promise he will see things he has never seen before.

Good luck, and best travels! Remember: explore, report, and especially cooperate! :)

Finished up to part 6 today. The alchemist dropped once and came close to death but was healed right before death.

Real fun. Looking forward to the rest.

It seems that adversaries did not appreciate the exploding death I was giving out.

Sczarni

No they didn't.

But little can top seeing the magus get air for 50 feet.

:DDD

Sczarni

Finished part 1 with no deaths (alchemist came close once).

Sczarni 5/5

I wish I could forget it all and play it again. Really great time.

Sczarni

Single multi level modules like the reborn forge module is pretty much only thing left unless you have all 5 replay stars available. I am already wanting to gm it as well and San Antonio might be close to a 2nd group being ready to start here in 3 to 6 months.

Grand Lodge 4/5

You only need 4 stars. The double-length of the first part doesn't make it cost double for replay.

Sorry Ulfen, already called GMing the next one.

Sczarni

Okay. I call third run through if it ever happens.

Had two tables of it run last weekend here in Canberra. My table went ok, the other table had a very rough time in part 2 but did finish strong. It is an excellent series and everybody should play it when they get the chance. From memory that means Canberra has run 5 tables of it so far in the last two years.

Sczarni

2nd running starting today in San Antonio.

Dark Archive 4/5 5/5 ****

Seems like we've exhausted the pool for a while in the Twin Cities... but over the last year there must have been 4-5 tables of this excellent series.

Definitely want to try it again with a different character... and have most of the players be new.

Liberty's Edge 5/5

We should have another group ready to play in a couple months. Level Up Games has a couple characters on the verge, and a couple ready to play already.

Horizon Hunters 4/5 5/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Indiana—Indianapolis

I have yet to get a character of the appropriate level.

Sczarni

We had a few players basically power level over the last month or so. Three of our players hadn't played their characters in over 9 months.
