Tbug noticed on the wiki:
Yoha's Graveyard seems to be the only place that the Clearing Moon is mentioned. We have the list of the names of all of the full moons in Blood of the Moon and the Clearing Moon isn't one of them. Has anyone seen errata for this? Tbug (talk) 00:02, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Note the reference list has the reference for this page to be isles of the shackles p37
From what's listed on the Wiki, it sounds like the Clearing Moon is not a set monthly "moon," but is one that is entirely dependent upon another natural phenomena: the ending of the rainy season.
It's like our Blue Moon: The second full moon in a single month.
Another RL example (sort of) is Easter. Easter is Celebrated on the first Sunday after the first full moon occurring on or after the Vernal Equinox. That's why Easter moves around from year to year!
Also seems that the Clearing Moon is a specific local name too.
