Celebrity Pathfinder Game possibly played by Paizo Staff

I was wondering if:

1) It would be possible to possibly have a slot for PaizoCon dedicated to watching celebrities playing Pathfinder? Kind of like Acquisitions Incorperated does at PAX.

2) If said celebrities could be Paizo staff?(James Jacobs, Lisa Stevens, Erik Mona, and Jason Buhlman(sp?) jump to mind as an awesome group for this).

3) If said celebrities could be a combination of Paizo staff/old TSR staff(Ed Greenwood comes to mind)?

4) If we could steal Will Wheaton(of former Acquisitions Incorperated fame) to participate in this as a celebrity?(I'm guessing not but its worth a shot).

5) If Paizo was willing to slot this how many fans of Paizo would be interested in such a thing? I know I would be.

Hmm. I'd be happy to posit it as a suggestion when we start organizing ideas for events, however the one downside I see to this is that we already have a huge demand for getting into a game run by staff (the whole lottery process) so taking 4-6 highly demanded GMs and putting them in a slot together takes away from the number of lottery events they can run for fans. And part of the draw for many attendees is getting the chance to play with a gaming celeb or Paizo staffer.

On a more selfish note, the more paizo staff in an event together the harder the schedule is to jigsaw/jenga together.

Might be a good new Monday, or Sunday afternoon, tradition. Another Con I go to puts this at the very start of the Con (it used to even be the day *before* the Con started) so as to avoid schedule conflicts - you're right it would probably have to be assigned first.

I agree 4-6 in-demand GMs would be taken from 24-36 attendees, but if it had an audience of 100+... that might be worth it. They'd probably need to be mic'd.

Also - if there are any staff who play but don't Con-GM, this could be a way to participate.

I would like to see an event like this happen. I feel it could be a good closing of the con event or one that could be balanced opposite of the Friday night PFS Special. I would like to see if it could be video recorded and uploaded to the Paizo YouTube channel. I think it could be fun to have James Jacobs or Rob McCreary run the game for 4 freelance writers of the AP/ Module line (a Mike Shel, Brandon Hodge, Nick Logue, Amber Scott game would be amazing!!) this way only one staffer is affect but the players are people who impact the world of Golarion. This is what I would like to see.

I will +1 that Jester that's a heck of an idea and it kind of solves the issue that Sarah mentioned. The only issue I have with it is possibly switch out one of the freelancers for Crystal Frasier.

I'd also like to see an event like this - also especially if it ran at the same time as the PFS special. It would give those of us who either can't get into the special or don't particularly like PFS play a cool event to attend.

This sounds cool, I have never one the lottery for James or Erik's games yet, and this would be a cool 'also ran'. FWIW I would treat this as a seminar so, like Majuba said, 100's could watch. Jester's suggestion is a great one too. :)

The Dungeon Delve was a fun taste of this (seeing the staff in GM mode I mean :)
