Full Metal Syndicate, is the LGBT focused guild for the upcoming MMO, Pathfinder Online from Gayme0n. We strongly urge all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and allies to join. Full Metal Syndicate is very excited to be the premier LGBT community that will be part of the Land Rush. This is the time to be part of the beginning of a new experience and represent your fellow gaymers in the River Kingdoms.
Like many of the other guilds finding their footing in Golarion, the Full Metal Syndicate will have a strong thematic element to cohesively fit within the River Kingdoms, because we are more than a group of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender, and allies in Pathfinder Online. We are going to be merchants focusing on metal and stone crafting. Therefore we will be a Lawful Neutral settlement, interested more in the law of economics than in the rule of justice and equality. However we are not aloof from politics, and are excited about the future of the River Kingdoms in Pathfinder Online.
Obviously, as a LGBT community, we encourage diversity. This is especially important in playstyle. We need PvE, PvP, diplomats, crafters, soldiers, gatherers, etc. We want our settlement to be diverse, healthy, and inclusive, which is why we are striving for economic prosperity first, to ensure a strong home for our community and those of a similar affinity. So we have a home for almost every playstyle.

Hey all, another founder dropping in to say hi. We have the 6 core that registered under guild backing through the Kickstarter a year and a half ago. Back then we registered under our Gayme0n community name. The guild is a separate entity unto itself and has its very own website (Zac supplied the link earlier :) )
We really do appreciate the warm welcome and are really excited to join you all in game. For what it's worth two of the six members that are founders are actually straight. Not that it means that much either way, but we will be supporting a friendly gaming environment for all.
That being said - we are also taking the game seriously. That means we'll be addressing the PVP concerns as well as the RP. We'll be keeping a look out for you Bludd and hopefully be well prepared. LOL! :D

Stone Bear Clan may come to a head with FMS depending on the locations we frequent but we have an interest in iron and stone craft as well. There is a possibility of some trade in the future. Our alignments may be opposite but what really matters are the actions taken in-game. I look forward to seeing you lot there.

MAJOR UPDATE!
We have diplomat and settler forums now! Click 'Apply to Settle' and choose Diplomat, Settler, and/or Member.
I'm really excited about this guys, lots of great game talk happening, and we want to have a place for everyone who want to with us engage directly.

(disclaimer: as a non-US person I am not updated on (or sensitive to) various correctness issues. If you find it offensive, I'll stick to generic paladin (or heavy metal) jokes).

In my opinion only if used in a negative context.
The only thing I would ask is to not perceive the settlement we are trying to form as gay because our specific company happens to be focused on Diversity.

Probably best to just not go with that one, some folks are more likely to take offense than others and no one wants to see the blow out that might cause here.

As a planned Paladin (or character of any type), the only thing that I mind is a comment that is intended as insulting and has nothing to do with "this game". There are plenty of other things to say in the context of "friendly banter".
From this American's point of view, yes it would be considered a bit rude. Americans vary greatly (in all our diversity) on such subjects, so YMMV. :)

You should maybe modify your apply link, then. Because I actually went two see it, thinking "why not this settlement, maybe, the settlement isn't the same thing as the company", but the first thing I saw was the LGBT advertisement.

Well, it is if they don't want the settlement to be perceived as a LGBT settlement, that is all that I was saying. Don't worry, I have absolutely zero prejudice against LGBT people. Actually, if you saw my FB account, you'd see a page I made to promote gay marriage and adoption among the right French wing.
From what I understand, the FMS company is LGBT, but not necessarily the settlement, which is why I think that "LGBT" shouldn't be the first and most visible thing on the settlement page. Because from what I understand (I can be mistaken), the settlement isn't a LGBT settlement, but a settlement which happen to be sponsored by a LGBT company.
