Hi all,
I am interested in buying the Beginner Box for Pathfinder, however I don't want to repeat the same experience I had with the D&D Red Box that put me off last year.
Basically what happened was that I went through the character sheet creation tutorial in the Red Box, only to get totally confused because I discovered sometime afterward that there were several errors in the process and stat calculation and I didn't really end up understanding how to properly generate valid characters.
So... I've now found out from a friend that similar errata were to be found in the Pathfinder Hero and GM handbooks, so what I really want to know is:
If I buy the Beginner Box, are the errata still present in the Hero and GM handbooks? If so, are current PDF's available to download after purchase that correct the errata IN ONE PLACE so that I learn how to generate character sheets correctly (I don't want to have to trawl through various forum posts having to piece together the corrections from official corrections and just users' opinions).
You advice and comments are appreciated,

Ok, have been reading through several of the previous forum topics and I now see that there was a 2nd printing of the BB released last year.
Can anyone confirm whether this product on Amazon is the 2nd printing version or not:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1601256302
The item model number is 'DEC132328' so I'm assuming it is from December 2013.
Thanks!

As long as Amazon are shipping the exact same product as they were a couple of months ago, that is indeed a 2nd printing :)
The way to tell without opening (in case you find you need to return it) is the corner flash in the top right, which should say "New Book Inside!"
More importantly though, I bought that very same product from Amazon UK a couple of months back, and I received a 2nd printing. So, you're safe unless their warehouse messes up.
