question about chronicle reward or possibly boon (possible SPOILER)

Hi folks,

I was hoping someone could help me track down a chronicle reward I've heard others talk about...it might also be a game day boon of some sort.

I've heard other players talk about using some boon/reward to purchase one item (in game) at a discounted price, like 20 or 30% off. Does anybody know what PFS scenario that might have come from?

You might be thinking of the Master of Trade boon found on page 19 of Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Pathfinder Society Field Guide.

If you only get it for free you're not doing it right.

You take everyone out to lunch, Collect everyone's money, pay, pocket the extra, get the receipt and then claim it as a business lunch for the tax deduction.

OP - there is also a Pathfinder Tales boon that sounds similar to that - not sure which one off the top of my head though.

I have to say, I like the vanity a lot better on a caster than a martial. casters can generally buy 1 thing and thats it : a pearl of power, a lesser rod of empowerment etc. Since the vanity only acts when you buy something, not when you upgrade it, it does a lot less for the martial who buys a masterwork sword, masterwork armor, a cloak +1, a belt +2 and proceeds to upgrade them from there.
