OKs so I am looking at building a Halfling Dodge monk or fighter and i wanted to consult your build expertise. so im building it for Pathfinder Society.
the concept i have decided to come up with is
Feats Required
Combat reflexes X Attacks of opp
Bodyguard +4AC to adjacent allies (more if wearing magical Armour)
Crane Style +1AC Dodge
crane wing
crane riposte
Cautious Fighter +2AC Dodge
Blundering Defense +1/2 Dodge AC to adjacent Allies
Traits
Helpful - Halfling +4 to Aid another
So my question is How should i build this character who assists others AC while they are adjacent to me are there any feats or abilities that i have missed that increase the dodge bonus to AC when fighting defensively.
I have calculated that is a +6 bonus to adjacent allies AC while fighting defensively +7 with total defense

You might consider the Aldori Swordlord archetype for Fighter, if that's the path you choose. Steel Net improves your ability to fight defensively.
The Golden Legionnaire PrC improves your ability to play team bodyguard further.
Edit: Are you using pre-errata Crane Wing/Riposte?
Also maths: When fighting defensively you get +2 AC, +1 for 3 ranks in acrobatics, +2 for Cautious, +1 for Crane Style. That's +6, half of that is +3. Not sure how you were sharing +6 with that build, did I miss something?

1:cautious fighter
F:blundering defense
M:crane style
F:crane wing
3:archon style
M:archon defense
5:boon companion
C:coordinated defense
Basically with this build, you want to go lore warden fighter, mknk of the many styles and honor guard cavaliar order of the paw. Feat setup is above
Lvl 1 fighter
2 monk
3 fighter
4 monk
Rest in cavalier
With this build you will be full defensing most of the time, running around on your dog and increasing allies ac by +6, making allies take aoes against enemys and giving people reroll saves.
Also, your dog will be the bodyguard archetype going down the bodyguard feat tree.
