Alissa: The trap on the right door handle is the same trap that you have encountered on every one of these golden doors, i.e. electricity

You detect that there is a magic trap on the floor of this room.

Yay, I did my first rogue duty and I succeeded.

gawd, I hate cleaning up rogue doodie

Hey, the pissboy is here.

"Oh, Pissboy!"

Sovereign Court

What the.. a tiny golemlike creature with pointy ears and a face reminescint of a badly carved Jack-o-Lantern appears.

Liberty's Edge

2 people marked this as a favorite.

"My name is Nesod, not...oh. you're talking to that. My ego remains intact."

I study the odd little critter.

Knowledge (arcana): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

Consults his drgon ancestors for lore and potential hazards.

Knowledge (Dungeoneering): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28

Knowledge (Arcana): 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33

"Piss boy? How rude. Do you see me carrying a bucket? Now, if you leave a mess, I'll clean it up, but don't expect more than that. Say, what's going on here anyway. Looks like fun. Can I help?"

Sovereign Court

Jenny/AMS: The creature appears to be harmless and looking to help you on your epic quest.

"So you intend to clean away every slimy pool of gunky water and garbage along our way?"

What is your class and profession?

I am quite tempted to... nevermind

3 people marked this as a favorite.

I still think he is a level 1 pissboy.

Dark Archive

*a spirit floats in* me? I thought you thought I was human.

Its back. KILL IT!! KILL IT!! KILL IT!! Kill it until it is dead.

Dark Archive

Poof!

..And stay away!

"Well, copper fella, in one version of the story it goes something like this. I was formally a Paladin, but due to unforeseen circumstances I was afflicted with a curse of bizarre origins. I was trapped in this mechanical body, hoping someday to find a way to return to my former self. Or, I am a just another construct, dreaming I am something more than what I really am. Either way, I’ve been known to work as a “Gardener” and can be called upon to do dirty jobs, if they arise. As for you, pretty lady, I’ll be your “pissboy” if the compensation is reasonable,*wink*”

Dark Archive

*Comes back and assassinates RAID then leaves again*

Thanks weird spirit assassin cricket tiefling thing.
Gods I hate that stuff.

Jenny makes a lot of messes.

Sovereign Court

It looks like we have another frontline fighter and someone else who wants to hit on Alissa.

when I created this alias it was for a game that didn't work out all that well, in the end, and now I see that I am Tiny! I forgot that bit, would anyone mind if I grew to small and tweaked the alias a little bit?

Sovereign Court

Art: Go for it

Liberty's Edge

"Great. Competition."

"Well, just leave the pools of slimy goo and garbage to me. I need to heal some way, you know?"

Liberty's Edge

"THAT's how you heal???"

AND HERE I'VE JUST BEEN POKING HER WITH A STICK.

"Sticks work too, but it is easier to jellify and absorb smaller, gooey stuff for geometrical pararrhexy. Ummm, regeneration."

Sovereign Court

AMH: A stick or a mace?

Same thing since the mace is Bashy's Holy Symbol.

Liberty's Edge

"Mrer."

*Scratches his butt*

"So what are we doing? " What is the small little one doing and can I eat him?"

Sovereign Court

Nasty: Well lets see if I can sum this up, in the middle of the second most dangerous dungeon ever full of terrible traps and abominations a small golemlike creature appeared and is now in the process of molting into something else...oh and AMS is scratching his ass

Back to exploring.

Knowledge Traps: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23

What kind of trap is on the floor?

Sovereign Court

Alissa: It is a pit trap that if 5 or more lbs are put on it, the floor dissapears and anyone in the room gets to make a reflex save at -4, if not you fall 10' and are stuck in a very sticky contact poison that does 1d6/rd.

Funny that the bug was the one wandering around alone as he would have been stuck in flypaper.

Also It would be a good idea to do the corridors of glass first.

Liberty's Edge

"I have a sneaking suspicion we should go the corridors of glass!"

I cast Jump
boing!: 1d20 + 44 ⇒ (18) + 44 = 62

I checked every post since the Wasp flew down the corridor. I cound not any mention of glass corridors.

Disable Floor Trap: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

By the way, did you guys notice them Glass corridors?

Nesod: The worst part about traps is the anticipation of traps.

Alissa: Beyond the curtain is a 200' long x 80'wide room rectangular room. It's floor is marked with 3 mosaic diagrams we'll call 1,2 and 3 made of tiny ceramic chips. Each diagram appears to show a section of a corridor, one branch leading to a key. Each diagram shows a 50' long x 10' wide hallway.

Diagram 1: Shows a 10' x 10' branch leading to the left with a key

Diagram 2: Shows a 10' x 10' branch leading to the right with a key

Diagram 3: Shows a 10' x 10' branch leading to the right, but at the end of the 50' long hallway, there is a key.

Three arches open in the north wall. Diagram 1 and Arch 1 are made of black marble, Diagram 2 and Arch 2 are made of opaque green glass and Diagram 3 along with Arch 3 are made of a violet substance that looks like dried sponge.

Above the archway is a message spelled out in a patchwork mosaic of black marble, opaque green glass and a violet spongelike substance. The message reads:THREE KEYS FOR THE GOLD, TWO STRINGS TO BREAK THE CUBE, ONE CUBE TO TRAP THE MIST.

This is kind of an important room so feel free to ask as many questions as you want

Alissa: In this main room you had 3 choices, you have been down the corridor of shadows i.e. Arch 1, Also the trap is disabled now

"So what can I eat or break in this room?"

So the whole 2nd corridor is made of glass, or just the archways?

Sovereign Court

Ranger Alissa wrote:

2nd archway: The surfaces of the rooms and corridors of this section are made of jagged green glass. The glass floors, covered with rough bumps and angular projections, make travel difficult, reducing normal movement rates by 1/4. Green glass stalagtites and stalagmites, averaging 3'-4' and a foot in diameter, sprout from the floors and ceilings. Interspersed among the glass stalagtites are what appear to be several 6' limestone stalagtites.

JRR Tolkien wrote:
AMH: A stick or a mace?

I don't want my mace to get sticky.

Hmm, is this too e-zee?

*Fires an arcane blast at 1 of the limestone stalagtites.*

Sovereign Court

AMS: Your blast hits a random stalagtite and nothing happens.

Good. At least they will not drop on us.
