An old favourite, beef, spinach & chickpea curry, with home-made rosemary and roast potato chunk bread to mop it up. Actually worked quite well. Either that or the curry so numbed the taste buds that I didn't notice how revolting it was.

Some wieners followed by a piece of brie with cream, tomato, and basil paste inside.

Grilled cheese sandwich made from extra-sharp cheddar, leftover chuck roast, leftover smooshed roasted garlic, and fresh herbs (basil, chives, and parsley) from garden.

Chili con carne (homemade, with extra mushrooms and bacon).

Hackbraten with mashed potatoes and spicy tomato/champignon sauce.

Made a lot of the stuff, which was probably a bad idea considering the date.

Chicken, lettuce, tomato, and ranch dressing wrapped in a sun dried tomato tortilla.

Two crappy (but cheap) fast food tacos

Diced pork fried with leeks, spring onions, mushrooms and sweet peppers, with smoked paprika. Bit watery, but palatable.

Scarab Sages

Beef Roulade with potatoes and kohlrabi, all homemade (and best of all, enough leftovers for a second meal down the week)

Lunch at my godmother's house. No idea what's for eating, but she's one of those people who can make pastries while sleeping, so probably lots of sweet stuff.

Ice cream. (It was warm, I was in town, and I'd had a big breakfast.)

(Improvised) creamy Italian pasta & chicken salad. Turned out almost perfect except for a bit too much acid (lemon juice & white wine vinegar) and bit too much salt, but not bad for a first attempt.

TV dinner today, as it is usually. Though I had pizza on Monday and Tuesday, and am thinking I will spring for SubWay tomorrow since it's rather cheap and located right across the street.

Saving your points? That sandwich might be free.

The same sandwich I eat everyday and an orange Vitamin Water.

You put a ring of regeneration on your sandwich?! {Stoo'Mak rumbles hungrily} That's brilliant! (if a bit monotonous sounding.)

Never mind monotonous, doesn't the bread get stale?

Properly baked bread is fine for eating for about a week or so. Not like the low quality bread sold these days.

You have no idea how delicious regurgitated and reeaten snadwiches are!

Hey, if you know what you like, why get something else? I ate pizza for every meal for the first semester of my sophomore year of college, and for every non-weekend meal for the second semester.

Mushroom and swiss burger and fried mushrooms from Herfy's

I just googled Herfy's... do they have U.S. locations now? I thought they were only in the Middle East.

Edit: I guess they do, since they have reviews for Washington state locations on Yelp.

Customer Service Representative

There's one not very far from the office. I know there were none back in NM. Until seeing your post I thought it was a local place. It was very good!

What in the world is a herfy?

Poor Man's (ie, side of french fries, fried egg, and fried onion) Porkchops

If it's porkchops, how in the world is it selling well in the middle east?

The Yelp reviews & menus for Herfy's Burgers locations in Renton, Seattle, Auburn, Redmond, etc. seem to be a small franchise/chain completely unrelated to the huge Saudi Arabia corporation. Weird.

Not much appetite for lunch with the damned heat & humidity. Had two deviled egg halves, a couple slices of shaved ham, and a (raw) scallion.

I ate bami goreng, made using a sort of kit I bought ages ago from the supermarket, to which I added chicken, spring onions and a pepper.

Customer Service Representative

Taco Time chicken soft taco and tatter tots.

Humidity is the worst!

No idea. I will be going to shop in a moment to see what's interesting there...

"Balkan" yogurt with chopped scallions and a bun. Or two.

A chorizo burrito I bought last night and forgot to put in the fridge, along with a bolognoa sandwich, and a paired 16oz Rainier.

Sweet roast pork with potatoes.

It's been a pig-heavy week.

Grilled shashliks, grilled sausage, salad made of leek, scallions, corn, apple, cheese, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt, with some bread and apple juice (I did not partake in chocolate-flavored wine).

Customer Service Representative

Egg, cheese, red potato, green pepper, onion, bacon, sausage, and ham skillet at the Pancake House. With apple juice.

Some cheese and scallion greens mixed with thick yogurt.

A very unispired cheeseburger.

Meatloaf sandwich with freshly-made basil-cilantro-smoked almond pesto, and a handful of plain Let's Lay's potato chips.

Back to sandwiches

A bit of gorgonzola.

Today's brunch: Meatloaf cheddar-melt sandwich with yesterday-made basil-cilantro-smoked almond pesto, scoop of cottage cheese, and a half-dozen green olives.

Fried pork with potatoes. I am considering putting some gorgonzola on the pork...

Tuna salad with mille-feuille for dessert.

It started to rain. Which will delay my trip to shop and keeps me unknowing what will I eat today.
