Pool Strike usable with Spellcombat?

Round 3: Revised Magus Discussion

Hi,
I think the question is clear, can I use Spellcombat and then Poolstrike as the "Spell"?

Quote:
Pool Strike (Su): A magus with this magus arcana can expend 1 point from his arcane pool to charge his hand with elemental power as a standard action. He can make a melee touch attack as a free action as part of activating this ability. If the attack hits, it releases the charge and deals 1d6 points of energy damage of a type of his choosing, either acid, cold, electricity, or fire. He can use this ability with the spellstrike class feature. If he misses with this attack, he can hold the charge for up to 1 minute before it dissipates.

The description clearly say I can use it to "empower" my weapon with it via Spellstrike, but can I use it with spellcombat intead of the spell?

Spell Combat is a full-round action, so you can't make a standard action in the same round. Pool Strike is not a spell, nor spell-like, as it's a supernatural ability.

I'm not sure if you can use Pool Strike one round, then hold the charge and use it for Spell Combat the next round. You have to use a light or one-handed weapon for Spell Combat - an unarmed strike qualifies, but I'm not sure if a touch attack does. A weapon used with Spellstrike would be OK.

From my interpretation of the style of the Magus (dualwielding/sword & magic figther) this ability should be usable with spellcombat instead of spellstrike. This would fit better to the Magus.

Attacking with sword and elemental touch attack at same time instead of gharing his weapon with a elemental power (what he already can via the Arcane pool feature) and then attack.

For the munchkin screamer, it's roughly the same, except, if you use it with spellcombat, you have to make a second roll (touch attack) and take a -2 penalty at low levels
