CONNECTS WITH: PUB-CRAWL, REDLIGHT DISTRICT & HAMLET!!!

5/5

THE GOOD:
While each side is great individually, the waterfront side is the lower right piece of a MEGA-FLIP-MAT!
The lower left one is "Pub-Crawl", the upper right one is "Hamlet" and the upper left one is "Redlight District" which are all excellent.
Together these 4 flip-mats form an 48x60 square mega-map (take that "Bigger Flip-Mats")!

THE BAD:
Nothing bad here.

THE UGLY:
OUT OF PRINT!

Please make this into a "Flip-Mat Classic" so that people who don´t own it can create a Mega map.

love this flip-mat

4/5

This map has been very useful for an urban game I run. The PCs constantly find themselves in warehouses. So anytime a warehouse comes up, I just pick one at random, and ROLL INITIATIVE! And if for some reason I have to end the game during a combat, just mark every one's position on the map, fold it up, throw it in my bag, and its ready for next time.

I recommend this flip-mat for any game master who, like me, is lazy and does not feel like drawing out warehouses.

The Ark of the Covenant is around here somewhere

5/5

I have yet to use both sides, but the scenario I ran with the large warehouse went very well with lots of jumping from crate to crate requiring balance and tumble checks, all while fighting off various foes not so happy to have the PC's crash their smuggling ring.
You will definitely have to sketch some surrounding buildings, however, as the structure takes up almost the entire area.
You will also have to devise some way of determine height as any battles are likely to go vertical into the stacks of crates.
The waterfront side may prove to be even more useful with multiple buildings and alleys.
A must have for urban campaigns.

Seem Redundant

2/5

Warehouse is cool. 2 warehouses seems like too much. It doesn't seem like an uber common encounter.
Maybe another popular urban site would have suited to backside.
Like a Nobles Villa. Something with a fence and surrounding buildings etc.

Outstanding

4/5

Outstanding. There is nothing more painful for a DM than to draw the contents of an warehouse or try to dig through tiles and find enough crates to fill a large space.

My biggest complaint is that the large warehouse could have had at least a 5X5 area which was empty for combat and still felt like a warehouse filled with crates.

Love the waterside warehouse on the back.

I have needed this map since I first started the Council of Thieves AP 6 months ago. Great idea, and please keep up your great work.

Shadow Lodge

with vanceb for too long we have had to run countless urban sprawls in dank crowded warehouses full of old wares and hidden dangers with narry a good pre-built map to show for it lol. But in all seriousness this will be an awesome addition to the maps line and will seriously help cut down on prep for GM's like me that run very heavy urban campaigns and really don't want to have to build another warehouse for the umpteenth time.

Raiders/Crystal Skull!

Search for the lost ark here! LOL

Liberty's Edge

I like!!!

This looks fantastic. Finally, 2 sides that we can use that are a good variant.

Looks like it could be very useful. Warehouses seem to be a popular location for my players to cause trouble.

Silver Crusade

Oh! It has a dock and water source. This would go VERY nicely with the docks and Waterfront Tavern :D

Hope it is ok to put this here, but if you are using this map, and need the quick contents of a crate, barrel etc Wizards has a real good randomizer for this. It's at Crate, Barrel, and sack contents Gen

If you're going to keep using these maps in your new scenarios (like this one, in season 8), it would be lovely if you would re-print them so we can buy them....
