New PFRPG Freeport RPGs from Green Ronin!

Green Ronin brings Freeport, their best-selling classic city setting, to the Pathfinder RPG with these three new releases!

Clocking in at a massive 544 pages, Freeport: The City of Adventure lovingly details a metropolis that mixes fantasy tropes, piracy, and Lovecraftian horror into an action packed setting for your RPG campaign. The city is now more detailed than ever, with added locations, characters, hooks, and a brand new, full-length adventure. The book, featuring a cover by fan favorite artist Wayne Reynolds and a fold-out map of the city, also includes full rules support for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: new classes, archetypes, feats, and magic items. As always you can use Freeport on its own or drop it into your campaign setting of choice. So set sail for Freeport, mateys! Come for the pirates, stay for the cosmic horror!

The Player's Guide to Freeport gives you everything you need to create and master a character in a Pathfinder Roleplaying Game campaign set in the City of Adventure. You'll find three new character classes—freebooter, monster slayer, and noble—and many new archetypes like corsair, musketeer, and witch hunter. It also features new feats, race options, equipment, spells, and magic items, and includes an overview of Freeport itself, so you can learn something about the city before your campaign begins. As a primer on the City of Adventure or a rules supplement for any Pathfinder Roleplaying Game campaign, the Player's Guide to Freeport is a sourcebook fit for a Sea Lord!

Now the City of Adventure returns to its roots with the Freeport Companion: Pathfinder RPG Edition, a rules supplement for The Pirate's Guide to Freeport. Its 160 pages are packed with all the support you need to run a Freeport campaign with the Pathfinder RPG. In addition to giving game stats for all the city's major characters, the Freeport Companion provides new core classes like the corsair and monster hunter, new prestige classes like the musketeer and witch hunter, famous magic items, an insanity system, new spells and incantations, and an introductory adventure.

Freeport Companion: PFRPG Edition is from 2010... a new book?!

Also AFAIK the new big hardcover from Green Ronin already includes all the required rule content - the old Freeport setting book was rules free and therefore required a PFRPG rule supplement (this very book), the new one includes fluff and crunch in one book.

Yes, the new book is everything you need.

I think what Guennarr was gettin at is: Why is the old almost obsolete version mentioned/linked in the blog post above ?

The last paragraph certainly seems as if it had wandered in from some old product description.
