Yay! Glad to see this one take flight. My thanks to Jason, Al, and Bob for their assistance on getting it out the door! And, also, domo arigato to Liz! ;)

The only time I ever saw Styx in concert was this tour. Man, I'm old.

Haven't We Been Here Before? I've been trying to figure out how to keep this thread going so we Don't Let It End. But the Heavy Metal Poisoning I suffer from is making it too hard to be creative. I guess it's High Time to give it a rest. I hope I can Just Get Through This Night. Hopefully this thread Styx around for awhile.

I probably have Too Much Time on My Hands (yeah, wrong album, but my favorite song)

Not sure. Let me check my Crystal Ball so we don't end up as Men in the Wilderness.

Okay, can we just agree that for a band that had a major identity crisis between hard rock and weird Broadway-esque musicals that Styx was the greatest in its totally made-up genre?

I know, I know...David Bowie, Pink Floyd, Elton John...but I didn't really think of them as hard rock of likes that James Y. or Tommy Shaw would throw down (okay, maybe Rush). Styx was like one part Ted Nugent and one part Duran Duran. Maybe we could throw The Who in there, though, and have some competition. Man, you gotta' love the 70s and early 80s.

You're listing off my favorite bands and musicians, man! Is anyone still carrying this torch?

Edit: Also, those who listen to Suite Madame Blue without prefacing it with Prelude 12 need flogged.

This thread makes me happy. Growing up, Styx was my favorite band.
