If anyone is interested in meeting on every Friday at Terracrux Games to play in The Mummy's Mask AP for Pathfinder, please let me know. I will not plan a day to meet until I have enough people who are interested in meeting on Friday and playing on Friday. The Mummy's Mask is the latest Adventure Path for Pathfinder and is absolutely stunning. Being that I am the host, I will be responsible for pretty much everything. All I ask is for some players who will bring their dice and have some fun.

I do have another update as of today. It appears that I have an alternate date to host this event and that is on Tuesdays. This means I can host a session of the Mummy's Mask on Friday OR on Tuesday every week. Until I receive the official verification from work, it is currently scheduled for FRIDAY.

I will add that FREE PRIZE support will be given away to those who participate in this event. Prizes are but not limited to are a PF CRB, Bestiary 1, 2, 3, 4 and other hardback books, the AP's themselves when fully completed, dice, and other supplemental material.

I want to offer my profound apologies to all of the people I disappointed by my lack of appearance on Saturday and Sunday. After attending on Friday, I went home and went to sleep only to wake up with a horrible headache and the flu (flu like symptoms anyways). I suspect that one of the many guests who was at the Con was sick themselves and it got to me.

So being sick, I could not attend the event that I was scheduled to host (Dreyfeld Manor) on Saturday, the banquet on Saturday evening, and all of SUnday just meeting people. To those people who signed up for my event, I am terribly sorry but I could not ride my motorcycle to PaizoCon with the flu for the chance of something even worse happening.

Next year, I will take extra steps in making sure I do not get ill...

I like the idea but it is really LAME.

Release a supplement really similar to the MONSTER COMPENDIUMS from 2nd edition that went in the binders.

All that needs to be on those pages are the pictures of the monster.

No stat blocks or anything.

I am tired of using my Bestiaries and covering up the stat blocks and name to reveal to my players what they are dealing with...

Pictures of monsters is what I desire.

I do not use technology at my table therefore hardcopies are preferred.

Is anything like this in the pipeline...?

Here is a link to an article from The Escapist. Maybe if the Gygax family woukd pull their own weight and stop arguing amomg themselves, they can get something done...

Paizo is the present and future of DnD.
No, it's really not. It's insulting to both D&D and Pathfinder to say that, in my opinion. Pathfinder, while based on D&D 3.5 (an edition that Gary Gygax detested, by the way), has developed into its own entity, and will continue to diverge. D&D is 4E, and will be 5E.

Please show me where Gygax stated that he detested the 3rd edition of D&D.

Wow, what luck. Two different guys in the area using these boards at the same time to recruit. Couple things though.

1: You're in the wrong board William, this board is for online campaigns. Gamer Connection is for local recruitment.

2: Sir Jeffrey is looking for players in this thread and you may wish to consider joining our group.

And a final item... where is Games Matrix? I live in Graham and don't go to Tacoma very often.

Thanks for the quick response and that is my fault. it just happens that these boards absolutely suck and they really have to get a better thing going for them or more people will do as I did....;D

The Game Matrix is on 8610 South Tacoma Way in Tacoma. It is a great place to meet new people before inviting them to the comfort and security of your home. The last thing I need is a complete wierdo or worse to be a guest.

I will look into the advice you gave me concerning Sir Jeffery...

Thanks my friend...;D

I am going to start a new Pathfinder Campaign in Tacoma, WA. We will be playing at my house that I just moved into.

We will be playing in some of the Pathfinder Adventure Paths and other things as they come out.

I am looking to form a group of no more then 5 players to not include myself as the DM.

If you are interested, please let me know.

Once we have the 5 players identified, we will meet at the Games Matrix to roll up characters and work out the schedule of playing times. My intention is to play every weekend at the minimum at my house...

Hello, my name is Temmogen..."Hello Temmogen" says crowd.
I am a gaming addict, having just counted my books. Just the sourcebooks, for all of my roleplaying games mind you...We have a grand total of 157 books. This spans Basic through 3.5 D&D, CoC, D20 Starwars, Traveller, D20 Modern, etc. Now if you will excuse me, I have to pick up my PHB II and the Item Pack 1, then I'll be trying to get this hook out of my mouth.
But wait...there's more. This is not counting the years of stored Dungeon and Dragon mags, the adventures, or the downloads. then of course, we can look across my game room, at the BattleTech shelf. 40+ books there, and the the boardgame shelf. Then lets take into consideration the reams of paper, I myself have generated, creating campaigns, NPC's general game notes, and the like. I'm saying I have more than anybody, but I will admit to being in the top ranks of the gaming insane.

Is that it??? Really...??? try 8800 lbs of RPG stuff I collected and bought over the past 35 years or so...;D This is not to mention the miniatures, board games, and card games... here are some pics for you stud...;D

The folks at Paizo hate prestige classes. They also hate multiclassing. Neither option will get much support because they feel that sticking with one base class should be enough. I have mixed feelings on this.

I love prestige classes, and multiclassing; rare is the character I design that doesn't at least dip into some other class, or work towards a prestige class. That's one of the best aspects of 3.5/pathfinder, IMO. It saddens me that they intentionally ignore these options. There are plenty of feats and prestige classes in 3.5, but I'm finding a that many pathfinder DM's are following a disturbing trend of only allowing pathfinder material, and robbing the game of many good options.

That being said, I'm happy that they are trying to make base classes more attractive to stick with; some are better than others, but they are trying. I just wish they would show some love to their customer base that likes prestige classes and multiclassing.

This is an easy fix. Quit playing pathfinder and go back to 3.5. problem solved.

I can tell you right now that the store you are going to is truely an anomoly as far as selling PF.

I visit on the norm 1/2 dozen gaming stores in the vicinity and PF is predominantly stocked in each of them.

I hear nothing but good things especially when sales is the subject. In other words, sales are good when PF is mentioned and sales are not so good with 4th edition material from WOTC.

Please tell me the name of your gaming store... ;D

I am impressed with many of the choices you posters made on the modules... I made it easy though, the only modules I did not like were the Conan modules, everything else is good to go...
