Appearance::

Viorel is in pretty good shape, having a lean build without excess fat with some muscle showing. The man has a dark olive skin tone, that coupled with his chiseled face, well groomed short black hair and beard makes for attractive young man. One notable thing is if one where to look extraordinary close at Viorel’s skin they might notice small scale like patterns across his skin. Other one is a tattoo on the left side of his face with characters from the Thassilonian alphabet.

While Viorel has a taste for flamboyant attire he prefers to keep it practical at the same time which limits it somewhat. He usually wears bright colors, like red, orange and blue he has a habit of getting his clothes dyed when he grows bored of the color. His usual outfit consists of a long coat with airy sleeves, loose pants, leather shoes, pretty simple shirt with flashy vest over it, a hooded cloak and last but not least he is never without jewelry, having a ring for each finger, multiple earrings on his right ear and a silver headband with embedded gemstones on it. These are accompanied with more practical things, a sash with multiple pouches, Morningstar hanging from right side of the belt while crossbow quiver is on the left hip and the crossbow itself hanging on the man’s back.

Background::

Viorel was born 25 years ago in Varisia, his father was long gone by then, just a simple one night encounter with his mother. From what his mother told him, the man was like Viorel a man whose blood was infused with arcane power. On the other hand Viorel’s mother’s lineage had an ancestor who was a dragon. These things were not known to the boy before he started exhibiting similar abilities than that of his father. Early childhood was not much different from other Varisian youths traveling around the world. After his abilities started manifesting and he gained some control over them he made his contribution to the caravan as a different kind of performer, using minor magical tricks he had mastered.

While his father was a mage his mother was a soldier and after receiving his kapenia, he moved away from being a mere performer and sold his abilities as a mercenary. Few years later he left the group, mostly out of desire to be something greater, but mastering his heritage was a major part in the decision also.

Years passed, wars came and went, Viorel didn’t mind the soldier’s life but desired something bigger and grander than this. Opportunity came when the Queen announced the fifth crusade, He signed off the mercenary group and started his way to Mendev. Now he is looking for others who he could depend upon because he is well aware that alone he has no chance to claim an area for himself.
