DESCRIPTION:
Larayn is an average sized woman with full breasts and hips that developed during the time she was
pregnant and seemed to stick. She looks soft, but growing up in the Isger she held her own at all chores
helping to scratch food out the land for her family and her strength nor tenacity should not be overlooked.
She wears a simple tunic with personal emblems of the Goddess sown in, including an ankhs and sun
symbols. She tries to hold her unruly curly red hair within a scarf ad often finds that it has found it way out
into the light.
She carries a scimitar, the chosen weapon of her order.
She puts information together quickly and has a tendency to just say the first thing that comes to mind. This
is not always beneficial as she will state truths about others that they may not want to hear.
BACKGROUND:
Lararyn grew up in a hard-working but loving home that looked to Erastil for its many blessings. Around the
age of fourteen she was taking her weekly splash bath (no need to be too clean) at a local river when a Priest
of Saranrae came along. He watched her closely and as she dressed to leave he approached her. He spun a
beautiful tale of the love shared by Erastil and Saranrae and that he had noted that she was born in favor of
the Godess due to the large ankh shaped birthmark on her left shoulder. The priest told her to make her
offerings to Saranrae and that he believed that when she bloomed to full womanhood she should make her
pathway to the temple.
She would eventually make that journey, but not till after the death of her husband, Bowen, and her son at
the hands of travelers who asked for hospitality and in return gave sorrow. The grief sent her to the temple
and the anger and sorrow wore her to the bone, but instead of revenge she has taken the role of cleric to
change the hearts of men from evil to good by whatever means possible.
She trained at the temple for 3 years before being sent out to test herself against the things at Haugins Ear.
