Traits:
    Armor Expert: You have worn armor as long as you can remember, either as part of your training to become a knight’s squire or simply because you were seeking to emulate a hero. Your childhood armor wasn’t the real thing as far as protection, but it did encumber you as much as real armor would have, and you’ve grown used to moving in such suits with relative grace. When you wear armor of any sort, reduce that suit’s armor check penalty by 1, to a minimum check penalty of 0.

    Anatomist: You have studied the workings of anatomy,
    either as a student at university or as an apprentice
    mortician or necromancer. You know where to aim your
    blows to strike vital organs and you gain a +1 trait bonus
    on all rolls made to confirm critical hits.

    Dirty Figher: When you hit a foe you are flanking, you deal an additional 1 point of damage (this damage is added to your base damage, and is multiplied on a critical hit).

    Warrior of Old (Elf): As a child, you put in long hours in combat drills, and though time has made this training a dim memory, you still have a knack for quickly responding to trouble. You gain a +2 trait bonus on Initiative checks.

Background:
    Jofram doesn’t remember his life before - who he was, where he was born - or even if he was born. But he does know the land. Humans and Dwarves fight to subdue the land, and Elves babble on with their songs of praise, but when the land speaks, Jofram listens. Among humans, he is considered stoic reserved, though this is mostly just in contrast to their own brash nature. Elves, it seems, consider him to be just another human, which is fine with Jofram. Elves make him a bit... uncomfortable, as if they will reject his human side. Even without the memories of his past, instinct drives him to hide the Elvish features of his ears - the only visible evidence of his more-than-human heritage.

    Though he can disguise his Elven features, the arcane power of his ancestors’ blood courses through him, enhancing his senses and skills. Though he remembers nothing of magic or spellcraft, the power within him is always there; pulsing within him; shaped to his will.

    Memories are a luxury he can live without, if he must. The things he needs to know are etched in his bones. How to track his prey, or escape pursuit - when to fight, and when to stand down. He knows instinctively to be hard and relentless, like the curved blade he carries; or sometimes be focused but flexible like the bow. These lessons are a part of who he is, as much as his arms or legs - or even his ears. These things are more valuable to him than any memories, and define him more than knowledge of a past ever could.

    While he is not quicksilver like the humans he resembles, he is just as capable of passion and anger - but is not the tiger, as well, or the bear? Each creature knows their place in the land, as each has made their place in it. Even the trees and plants war with each other for dominance - the leaves battle for more sunlight, the roots war for water rights - and in battle is there place decided. Why should Jofram be any different? He survives; thrives. He is not cruel, but he is fierce. To be less than everything he can would be a disgrace to the land and the gifts it has given him.
