A new Seattle runner's "best friend," George makes a special effort to extend kindness & generosity to the new blood in town. Not only does this help out his karma and reputation, having so many chromed and awakened folks hanging around his pub has made it one of the safest places in the Barrens.
The locals come by to gawk, gossip, and drink (synthahol, but fairly priced), while most of the runners swing through to touch base with one another, feel out the streets, and maybe catch a job offer.
No bouncers, no scanners at the door, rooms for rent above, and plenty of discreet exits makes it quite the welcome spot for newbies. Just don't abuse his hospitality or forget your manners, omai.
