Physical Description:
Cadwyn is quite tall, with long blond hair pulled back into a ponytail. He keeps his large sword slung comfortably on his hip and his shield, enameled with a gold bird of prey soaring on an azure background, fastened securely to his back. He carries himself with an air of nobility, but is ready to smile and acts more humble than his gentle birth would seem to allow.

Background:

Spoiler:

Cadwyn comes from a semi-prominent noble family who have lived in Westcrown for generations. To the public, they seem like benevolent philanthropists who run some small homeless shelters and by collecting money for the poor. It is all a front, however, as they keep virtually all the money raised and use the shelters to kill and harvest corpses to sell to necromancers in Westcrown and beyond.

For the first 15 years of his life, Cadwyn was blissfully ignorant of his family's "true" business, and when he found out he was torn between his inherently good nature and his loyalty to the family. Eventually, after going along with them for a time, he had had enough and left the family. He was sworn to secrecy by his father before he was tossed out, with a promise that if he ever spoke a word of his family's true nature he would be summarily hunted down. His parents were too superstitious to outright kill him, but would overlook their beliefs if they were threatened with imprisonment or worse if their secret was revealed.

Having nowhere else to go, Cadwyn wanders Westcrown, trying to redeem himself for his own actions and the sins of his family, but due to his noble nature, still wears his family crest, a golden falcon on a blue field. He hopes to one day return, the prodigal son, and pull his family from the depraved depths they have fallen to.

Barring that, he secretly harbors a hope that he can end the suffering they are inflicting by killing them or casting them in chains.

He's developed something of a quick tongue, and though he see's conspiracy and corruption everywhere, he still holds out a hope that there may be redemption for his family, and the corrupt diabolical governmental system in Westcrown. He's finally become fed up with being silent, and is hoping to use his status as a minor noble to enact any change he possibly can.
