"Oh we are heading to the Tickwood forest, it shouldn't be a long trip at all. Now I am curious, are all of you natives to Sandpoint?"
"I'm sure you will all be fine, it is only boars we are hunting after all. Now if everyone is ready let us start our journey."
"You really love animals don't you, my dear?" Aldrean asks Jiessi. To the other Aldrean says "I'm sure the weapons you have are fine, if you can kill a goblin with them you should be able to kill a boar."
"That is good my dear, for it is time to go." Aldrean says as he walks out of the stables with his two menservants and enough horses for everyone.
"It is getting late and we have all had a very eventful day so I am going to turn in for the night. See you all in the morning." With that Aldrean leaves.
"Very good, meet me at the Goblin Squash Stables tomorrow." He then pulls some small sacks out of his pocket. "I also promised you all a reward for saving me, here it is." He hands each of you one of the small sacks each containing 50 gold each.
"Of course not my dear, I would never hunt endangered creatures."
"No I wouldn't have the faintest idea. I don't think I have ever heard of goblins even attacking a town this large before. Let alone I have no idea how they got in with out anyone noticing, they just appeared out of nowhere." Aldrean will take a drink. "Thank you. Now then I beleive that I said I was going to give you all an award, but first I was wondering if you would all like ot go boar hunting with me tomorrow?"
Aldrean enters the room looking much better than he did when you all first met him. He sees you and joins you at your table. "Hello, sorry to keep you, I was just finishing up getting ready."
"Jeissi, what a beautiful name, fitting for one with such beauty. The way you fought those goblins was so graceful as well." The to the group he says "And thank you all for saving me, I was in town for the Festival when those little monsters cornered me. I shall have to thank you all, but first I need to change and freshen up. I am currently staying at the Rusty Dragon for a few more days before I must leave again. You should all come and visit me and I will reward you more properly."
With the death of the goblins the man hiding behind the barrels comes forward. He approaches Jiessi and says "Hello there, Thank you so much for saving me. My name is Aldrean Foxglove." |
