Bark at the Moon!

Friday, March 4, 2011

Last week we showcased the cover art from Howard Andrew Jones' Pathfinder Tales novel Plague of Shadows. This week we go back to the beginning and give you a wallpaper based on Prince of Wolves by Dave Gross, the novel that launched the entire line. If you haven't read it yet you really should. It's got fighting, murder, mystery, true love, werewolves, ancient magics, curses from beyond the grave, and even dead Pathfinders! Best of all, if you know any Pathfinder Tales subscribers, they may have received a free copy to give away...

And tune into this spot on Monday as Pathfinder Designer Stephen Radney-MacFarland guest-blogs and things get... explosive.

And now this is my new wallpaper. I think this is my favorite design so far on the new wallpapers. Really nice overall composition! And a fantastic book!

Crystal sure is keeping us in wallpapers. YAY!

Have I ever mentioned that I would also be grateful for more iPhone wallpapers? Sometimes I forget to mention stuff like that, so I'll just throw that out there this morning...

Good idea. Most of us at work have iPhones at this point, so it shouldn't be too tough a sell!

While you're at it, Android wallpapers too?

So say we all. I've Grace PArk right now, but would trade her for some good Paizo art.

What's an "android"?

Something made to suffer for the sins of George Lucas. It's our lot in life.

Pity I'm at work, I can't link to a video of the anne-droid.

For me, it's a smart phone that allows me to stay independent of the iCollective.

(Annoying fact. Orishi, my Honda insight, can read 8 gig flash drives, or an iPod, no other MP3 players.)

if you can, set your phone to disk mode. It should allow it to be recognized as a flash drive (unless your car ONLY reads 8GB ones). Disk mode will just mean your phone can't access the card, but if your car is the one playing the MP3s then all should be good, if you still need the Music app to run it then my solution doesn't help at all.

As to what's an "android" it's a nice phone that allows you to see the background the whole time you're using it, not just when the phone is locked.

I could but too many cables for my taste. (one to charge, one to aux port...) It's just easy enough to put the jump drive in. Heck 8 gig lasts me long enough to make a day's drive. I just found it annoying that it *has* to be an iPod to use the USB port.
