Catching Up

With Gen Con come and gone (see Mike Brock's blog updates and photos here, here, here, and here), and the tricky journey home a thing of the past, one might think that the Pathfinder Society production schedule would more relaxed. That's true relatively speaking, but we've still been busy catching up on Pathfinder Module and Pathfinder Adventure Path sanctioning. Emerald Spire's Chronicle sheets are nearing completion, and the remainder of Mummy's Mask is soon to follow.

Speaking of recent publications, I realized to my chagrin that the art for an important NPC in Pathfinder Society Scenario #6-03: The Technic Siege never made it into the scenario. I'm particularly excited about this piece, as the individual depicted is not only a longtime resident of Nantambu, the Mwangi city famed for the Magaambya school of magic; she's also an aasimar. I suspect this won't be the first time we see the "Dealer in Dreams both Tangible and Ephemeral" known as Aya Allahe.

Happy Gaming!

Any word on when Wardens of the Reborn Forge will get sanctioned?

Whoop! Thanks for the hard work, and thanks for making that awesome art available! Really looking forward to Emerald Spire.

She looks amazing. Thanks for the hard work. Cannot wait for Emerald Spire!

It will be great to see some of these sanctioned.

Do we know when the other catch-ups are going to happen: the reporting for new factions and the new faction symbols community use download?

I must admit to being a bit surprised to do some reporting on the weekend and not having the new factions to report against.

Any chance on some clarifications on what exactly changes with the factions?

Presumably if your faction only changed name there's no change.

Do the scarzini use the faction retirement rules?

What happens if you go from one faction to another? Can you bail on Qadiria the exchange to join the Darkive and keep your 10% master of trade discount card?

What happens to all of those "The risen" who can't change factions? Presumably they're automatically shunted into the scarab sages but has cutting ties with osirion let them break free after this?

Glad you're home safe John, thanks for everything!

So glad everyone gets to see and use this amazing piece of art!

I am also quite interested in the answer to these questions.

Awesome art, I'll have to try and remember it is here when I play and/or GM 6-03

Thanks for all of the hard work.

Great art - not sure why it's important she's an aasimar though.

Oh - and since someone brought up faction symbols, I hope all the old factions and faction symbols will remain available on the website when the new ones are added (just as the previously retired ones are).

And still selectable in the event reporting page. (that is sarcasm by the way). Those should actually probably NOT be there. Especially Shadow Lodge and Lantern Lodge.

Someone pointed out to me that those may still be there because there may be old events that have not yet been reported? I find that unlikely but I guess it is possible. Just ignore me. :)

I foresee a new NPC in my burgeoning stick puppet army.

Oh, I love the Aasimar. Always interesting to see how plane touched features show up with different human ethnicities.

Because she was created and had one-chronicle before August 14th?

Well my thought was that it bore mentioning due to the glowing golden eyes.

I don't know.. I guess there could have been a Slot 0 of the scenario run, but I think I'll need to see the birth certificate.

Man, stop bothering her. She was sitting on that Aasimar boon for three years, and now her foresight has payed off.

Thats a great piece of art!

My only question is: will the Emerald Spire chronicles (or at least the first one) be coming out this week?

Pathfinder Module: The Emerald Spire Superdungeon is now sanctioned in its entirety for Pathfinder Society Organized Play. You can find the download either on the product page or in the right-hand banner on the Additional Resources page.

Nicely done on the chronicle sheets! I like the Land Rush mini-game; this may be the impetus I need to get the local group to run Emerald Spire.

Question: ANSWERED.

In style!

John,

Great Job!

In the land rush Chronicle it states Every other Chronicle sheet for
The Emerald Spire Superdungeon grants you...

Does this mean every additional ES chronicle sheet or does it skips one chronicle sheet and then the 3rd, 5th, 7th....sheets

5/5 5/55/55/5

pretty sure it just means that the land rush chronicle itself doesn't count.

Correct; including the Land Rush chronicle, the document includes 17 chronicles. Only the chronicles corresponding to dungeon levels allow you to purchase a new hex of land.

This is correct. There are 16 hex-parcels of land and 16 land-granting Chronicle sheets. Were one to play all of Emerald Spire, he would have the potential to claim all 16 hexes.

Kudos to the artist. She's heavenly.

I just scheduled a bunch of games that are not Emerald Spire! Boo on the timing. :)

@John Compton

Any update on Investigators and crafting?

A very low priority question - where would we look for a larger-sized image of the Year of the Sky Key PFS banner?

I know you guys just went from GenCon to PAX, so thanks tons for all of the hard work and updates!

I remember Aya from 'Heart of the Jungle', and this is a really awesome portrait of her.

I was hoping that we'd eventually see some artwork of her so that we'd finally get to see some planetouched with human ancestry from multiple ethnic groups and skin tones. :D
