I confess I'm a little torn on this feat. I don't have a convenient way to track it in HeroLab so that I can have the PCs available when I'm offline, but I'm starting to notice a lack of heavy hits from the PCs and this would be a good way to compensate. It effectively costs 2 feats because of its prerequisites, so that counters some of the min-max issue of over-valuing dexterity and dumping strength. But I think it also has a false balance provision of avoiding bonus loss in the off-hand through not increasing it with two-handed weapons... when finesse two-handed weapons are as common as Protestant popes in the first place.
Ultimately, I think I'll allow it. If anyone else wants to revisit a feat choice for 3rd level in this light, please do. Otherwise, it will be available for other PCs in future levels.

I don't qualify for it at this time, but if we are asking about 3pp feats, how do you feel about this one?
I'm not really sure you'd get a ton of value out of it, Rawnie, since I haven't often seen the trade-off between movement and casting metamagic on the fly be a decisive issue. Do you have a particular use case in mind?

Probably not much, especially considering that I intend to take Inscribe Magical Tattoo at 5th (though I will need ranks in Craft: Tattoo first) which means the earliest I could get Arcane Discipline would be 7th, and the earliest I would have a metamagic to utilize it would then be 9th.
Mainly it was only one of two 3pp feats that I even thought would be interesting for the character, the other being this one purely for theme, though I cannot actually ever qualify for it. I would probably be better just taking Desna's Deific Obedience this level, but that would require reallocating skill points, I think I will stick with Fast Learner after all.

Would Alara be able to ready an action to charge the first dire corby that she can flank with Masamune?
I think that would be fine. You're restricted to a standard action in the surprise round and that's the sort of condition a standard-action charge requires.
I think that's everyone who has surprise on the dire corbies except Rawnie. How's the healing coming, Rawnie? If you don't mind, I'll have your PC delay rather than give away her position before the dire corbies move in. That way, I can post the next move now.

Unfortunately the wrist had not been diagnosed at this point, so I do not believe it has begun to heal, additionally I've been back at work on modified duty so I am unsure what that is doing to the healing process.
Additionally, my 2 & 1/2 year old daughter has just been diagnosed as autistic, so yea is been a fun several weeks.
I'll try to post this weekend atleast, but Rawnie has nothing noteworthy to do until they get closer.
And to answer a previous question - Piper, at the start of combat, your bardic music is at full capacity. It resets with every night's sleep.
