Vraxel drills the 4 legged creature with a flask of oil which breaks and spreads oil all over the creature's body.

Alamin continues to slice the one that is down, hoping to keep it down.

I'm assuming this entire time that you have: flasks of oil; torch; flint and steel?

It will take you round 6 to get a torch out and lit. In round 7, when the pit dissapates and it is now back at ground level, you can make a to hit roll (touch attack) on the critter to ignite it.

Good call. You can give me a to hit in the pit (the one that's oiled w/ regular AC) or a to hit (the one that's not oiled w/ touch AC) on the one Alamin keeps killing (she is racking up the XP!). The one in the pit will be at ground level in round 7 and flaming oil will do non-regenerating damage but it will still have HP.

Catching on Fire

Characters exposed to burning oil, bonfires, and non-instantaneous magic fires might find their clothes, hair, or equipment on fire. Spells with an instantaneous duration don't normally set a character on fire, since the heat and flame from these come and go in a flash.

Characters at risk of catching fire are allowed a DC 15 Reflex save to avoid this fate. If a character's clothes or hair catch fire, he takes 1d6 points of damage immediately. In each subsequent round, the burning character must make another Reflex saving throw. Failure means he takes another 1d6 points of damage that round. Success means that the fire has gone out—that is, once he succeeds on his saving throw, he's no longer on fire.

A character on fire may automatically extinguish the flames by jumping into enough water to douse himself. If no body of water is at hand, rolling on the ground or smothering the fire with cloaks or the like permits the character another save with a +4 bonus.

Those whose clothes or equipment catch fire must make DC 15 Reflex saves for each item. Flammable items that fail take the same amount of damage as the character.

Lamp oil burns for 2 rounds.

Vraxel ignites the creature the creature at the bottom of the pit (in round 6) it takes fuego!: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 6) = 9 of fire damage over 2 rounds. 948

However DC25climb: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 the creature finally gets out of the pit (in round 6) just before the pit disappears (in round 7) and attacks Vraxel bite: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 biting him for CHOMP!: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13.

Vraxel:
Make a DC14 fort save or contract bloodfire fever!

A trollhound's saliva is an infectious brew of contagion. Creatures bitten by a trollhound are often afflicted with bloodfire fever, a disease characterized by deep internal pain, as if the victim's blood were on fire. Additional symptoms include loss of muscular coordination, pus-filled blisters, and overall lethargy and fatigue. Trolls and trollhounds alike are immune to bloodfire fever, even though trollhounds often exhibit the pus-filled blisters that come with the disease.

Bloodfire fever: Bite—injury; save Fort DC 14; onset 1 day; frequency 1/day; effect 1d3 Str damage, 1d3 Dex damage, and target is fatigued; cure 2 consecutive saves. The save DC is Constitution-based.

The sphere can only move 30' in a round and you can't get it from the troll with the Xbow to the 4 legged critter Alamin is keeping killed in 1 round. So let me know if you want to keep it on Xbow or move it.

Your Xbow did hit (check the post) it's what pushed the troll out of the way of the flaming sphere.

The pit is still there (didn't savy the +3 rounds for school bonus), however the creature climbed out of it and is eating Vraxel.

No cover around, but you could make a full round withdraw action and try and get out of range?

Vraxel misses twice but makes the DM laugh with his prose. He feels a fierce burning and itching around the creature's bite marks.

Alamin keeps the dead creature on the ground.

The Xbow troll dances and dodges about Randtam's deadly flame taking no damage in rounds 7/8.

Randtam sucks down a potion of healing and can take another action for round 7 OR move the flaming sphere to Alamin's foe and do burn damage (9 points) to it.

Uuranx flatens his foe with a mighty axe slash, but notices the huge cuts starting to bind themselves together.69

Alamin hammers away at the prone critter.

Randtam withdraws another round and directs the flaming sphere down to finish off Alamin's foe.

Uuranx coats his downed foe with oil and starts looking for his flame starter (you can start a fire next round because you don't need to light a torch).

The beast bites at Vraxel 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27 and rips into him for SHRED!: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11.

Troll throws a stone at Uuranx
big stone: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
which would have missed but for his enlarged size doing
CRUNCH: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 points of damage.

Troll fires a crossbow at retreating Randtam

It burned for 2 rounds and took 9 points of non-regenerating damage.

The wounds you inflicted after the fire went out appear to be healing themselves.

Maybe you take out the one Alamin keeps chopping up and she'll take on the live one?

Uuranx lights his fallen foe on fire in the tower.

Randtam is out.
