Post comments. Insult your party members. Give advice, good or useless. Decide to squish a bug beneath your feet because it is fun. Whatever you do, try to post at least once a day, otherwise it seems like you are not around, which is frustrating for those actively involved.

FYI - this is why going solo is such a pain in pbp. When the party splits, anyone not involved in the solo operation is really left out.

Well it's been good for me actually. I *just* finished a major deadline at work and had put most of my PbPs on hold (I even had to drop a couple). I should be more active going forward *fingers crossed*. But it doesn't help that I have little idea what's going on.

I have a potion and three scrolls from the warden himself. I'm not able to identify potions, so I'm not sure what it is. I posted that I was going to read magic on the scrolls, but I never got a response as to what they were.

Improved Cover

In some cases, such as attacking a target hiding behind an arrowslit, cover may provide a greater bonus to AC and Reflex saves. In such situations, the normal cover bonuses to AC and Reflex saves can be doubled (to +8 and +4, respectively). A creature with this improved cover effectively gains improved evasion against any attack to which the Reflex save bonus applies. Furthermore, improved cover provides a +10 bonus on Stealth checks.

Thus, it would require an arrow slit. I do not know if the crenelations count as such.

Woohoo, I'm conscious! I'm not moving for a bit, and I'm reasonably certain I can't climb without falling unconscious again, but I can talk.

Caprin, Azrin has a potion on him we took from the Warden he couldn't identify. Can you either make a Craft (Alchemy) check or cast Detect Magic to find out what it is? If it's a CLW potion, I'll hopefully be able to get moving at normal speed again.

Recovering with Help

One hour after a tended, dying character becomes stable, the character must make a DC 10 Constitution check to become conscious. The character takes a penalty on this roll equal to his negative hit point total. Conscious characters with negative hit point totals are treated as disabled characters. If the character remains unconscious, he receives another check every hour to regain consciousness. A natural 20 on this check is an automatic success. Even if unconscious, the character recovers hit points naturally. He automatically regains consciousness when his hit points rise to 1 or higher.

We could open one of the trapdoors, dump the oil down it, and light it on fire. That way we might actually get to light them on fire.

Open a trapdoor. If there are guards there, then dump the oil and set it on fire. If there are no guards, then climb down and see what we find. From the map, it appears to have two trap doors into a large room. If there is something on the roof, other than Grumblejack's rear, that we can put on one of the trap doors, we should seal one shut from above so that the guards cannot climb up while we are going down.

Also, someone needs to keep an eye into the courtyard to make sure than no guards try to escape.

Yup, sounds fair. Personally I would have waited, seen if there was anyone on the level below, and if not, gone down without burning oil. As much as Yzera loves the smell of burning flesh in the morning, having to wait for 10 minutes while an empty room goes up in a conflagration seems a bit foolish. We know from the map we found that the level below us is one large room, but that there were several rooms below that on either side of the entrance. One of these three, either the big one or one of the lower rooms, is used as a poker den.

Agreed. This is a good group. But, unless we all get back to 1+ posts per day, or you cut out a lot of stuff in the AP, there is no chance of finishing this. I was in another fast-paced WotW (heavily modified), and after about 18 months, we had only made it to level 6, and that was with over 12,000+ IC posts and another 5,000+ OOC.
