The Storm in Isger

Game Master Sigil

Liberty's Edge

Isger has never really known peace. Taken from barbarians by Taldor, and then by Cheliax it now serves as a vassal for the House of Thrune. These are the facts of the generations past, but yet still the ground is wet with blood.

Fourteen years past saw the Goblinblood wars. There is none now alive who does not know someone, and likely someone close to them that was killed in that dark time.

And here is the present day, orphans abound, though many of them are taken in by the church of Asmodeus. The country side is rife with bandits. Though the Chitterwood was burned back in the Goblinblood wars, it is regrowing and sightings of goblins and hobgoblins are increasingly frequent.

The small village of Haugin's Ear hears rumors that its closest neighbor, Gillamoor has fallen to a plague of undeath, its own streets are not safe at night with several teen girls being abducted recently, and just yesterday, a company of Hellknights arrived from Citadel Dinyar and set up camp.

It is under these clouds that Ilyssia The Lady of the Tower, summons you. You are to arrive tomorrow night and are to keep your errand secret.

_____________________________

What I am looking for:

4-6 players to help determine what is wrong in Haugin's Ear. If you have the Inner Sea World Guide, the Isger entry has lots of information that may help you flavor your character. Characters should be 1st level, 15 point build, with 2 traits. Max hitpoints, and average wealth. All things Paizo are okay, with a preference toward the core rulebook. My preference is STRONGLY against evil characters, but I am not saying no. I am generally against gonzo for the sake of gonzo, but I am a sucker for an interesting character with a background that makes it work in the setting. Please choose characters that fit with the setting, and have a background. I am hoping to find players that wish to co-operatively tell a story in this expositive form. Ideally, you will post at least once a weekday , with weekends being optional.

I know no one likes to do a full build only to find that someone else was selected. Please feel free to limit your initial post to class/race and back story, and something about you, including your experience with Pathfinder and PbP games (All experience levels will be considered, but a game full of people new to the game will do without certain assumptions I would make about a more experienced group). Final selection will be made in one week (Feb 13, at 2:00pm EST) Please be comfortable sharing your email with the group. My experience with these things is that they were better when there is a way to chatter OOC. Please also be aware that I have extended invitations to several friends and that thier acceptance will limit the number of open places.

About me:

I have been playing some form of this game for more years in my life than I have not. I have never been a GM for either a Pathfinder game or a PbP game, but I do have significant experience DM'ing previous editions. My influences are HP Lovecraft, Robert McCammon, Brian Lumley, and the television show Millennium. I like ethnic food and cooking. I keep tropical fish. I am very excited about this game and am looking forward to what sort of characters are submitted.

I am interested in playing. Have played D&D for years but moderately new to Pathfinder. Have played PBM before as player and DM. Don't know the specifics of how to play on these forums. Fairly disciplined poster who likes to Roleplay.

If I'm in, I'll make a character. I tend to play Rangers & Bards alot, but am flexible and can make any character to help the party.

Dotting for interest, Sounds awesome

Dotting for interests. Will post a background later.

Hi Sigil

As you know, I'll be pleased to play. Charismatic female fighter likely of tank persuasion but prob with some maxed cha. based skills (diplomacy).

Have been role playing since most readers have been alive (anyone else remember the original three book D & D?) and as a last resort can power game and rules lawyer with the best of them. I'm looking forward to being and old crone, but still try to play young, lissome, beautiful heroines of the R E Howard mould.

;-)

Hey Lucilla - I remember the 3 books ...but are you talking AD&D or the 3 brown books that were the 'tactical mini's game called Dungeons & Dragons'. As it happens, I have both sitting on my desk right now. Have been playing since the early 70's, so if you don't mind, I'll join you in the 'Old' category, but will gladly play a younger lad...

Yes, I mean the three brown books whose individual names I can't remember. I read enough of them at my older cousin's house to be fired by it, steal some of his wargame minis and try to play 'Dungeons and Dragons' at home on my own. I remember that the half orc fell down a pit and got killed. Ye gods, what a memory. So if you have your own set, you win bragging rights over me. Curse you!

I offer Narnel for your consideration. He is a bit withdrawn and sadistic, but not evil. A Rogue (Sniper) by trade. This current build was a 20 point buy. I will change accordingly. His background appears in the profile.

I too am an oldie but a goodie. I have been playing D&D since the early eighties, and i am fairly experienced at PbP as well.

Hi! I would like to offer my character - half-elf CG rogue - Bazil Viqez.

Bazil Viqez's first draft:
Death took its toll on Bazil Viqez's family. From all his relatives he was the only survivor from The Goblinblood Wars that occurred fourteen years ago.
He was only 10 during this tragic warfare. The violence of feud from that moment was as natural to him as the color of the sky.
The things he saw during that time turned him into the ruthless, raging thug later, and eventually into the prisoner in the city of Elidir.

He spent there 2 years for a violent robbery, but during that time he befriended with an ex-priest, who grossly violated the code of conduct required by his god, and while taking care of the prison library he was on his path of atonement.
The priest using his knowledge and wisdom changed the vicious side of Bazil's soul to the state where his nature would be more likely accepted by society devastated by the recent war.
After being released Bazil realized that he was not capable of a total alteration in his persona despite what priest imagined.

Yet some changes already took place. Without being aware of it he started to accept only the work that at least in its premise avoided the direct violence. This approach led to a sudden development in certain nimble professions.

Soon after reaching the age of twenty four he was already well known for his agile set of skills as a rogue for hire, mostly for nonviolent interceptions of a precious cargo on the famous trading route of Isger's Conerica Straits.

Bazil was never supposed to be a spokesman nor the noble and he knew little of such things as a charm, good appearance, or etiquette.
His past combined with newly gained skills turned him into a stealthy fighter and highly perceptive trapfinder.

I'm fairly new to D&D in general, but I'm not a stranger to good storytelling. I will develop this character background further somewhere this week.
Cheers.

I have updated Narnel accordingly, including a beefed-up background. Thanks for your consideration.

Lantern Lodge

Ok, so after reading the background on Isger I am left with three ideas. They start out the same way but diverge slightly.

The start of the idea is that the character is one of the orphans of the Goblinblood Wars. Raised with all the other children,, who were corrupted into the faith of Asmodeus. Coming of age they started training them in ways to best serve those that raise him.

Idea 1. A Lawful Neutral Human Monk.
Normally the Sisters of the Golden Erinyes take on female prospects but there was something about this male. So they trained him as far as they could and sent him on his way. The training was not nearly as pleasant as the females in his class. He was beating severely if his form was incorrect. Breathing wrong resulted in being held underwater. He quickly learned to do things correctly the first time. Now he lives how he can scrape by without a weapon to his name. Though he prefers it this way, after all it was weapons that left the land in this horrible state it currently resides. He has vowed to only use weapons when life is in danger.

Idea 2. A Neutral Human Oracle.
The darkness and madness of war took their toll on this child. And was visited by another patron other than Asmodeus. Nidal's Patron, Zon-Kuthon has gifted this child with madness. And devestation and madness are all that are left in his wake.

Idea 3. A Lawful Neutral Human Wizard.
Through the faith in Asmodeus he was taught heirarchy and that everyone has a someone they have to report to. This was the foundation of Diabolism. He started showing a knack for his intelligence. The church deemed that his best fit would be to learn at the Egorian Academy, in Cheliax. He was taught the tools of a conjurer and showed a knack for summoning and binding devils. After all if someone was meant to be a leader and have people report the them why not him. So he lived and learned, and he lived to learn. He was recently called back to Isger by the Asmodian (sp?) priests. Unfortunately he still has people he has to report to.

Depending on which you like I will expand their backgrounds further. This was just a rough idea of where I would start.

My background includes 22 years of roleplaying including DnD from the redbox set to 3.5, pathfinder, World of Darkness old and new, GURPS, Shadowrun, and Cthulhutech.
I have a heavy background in physical activities which includes several black belts in martial arts. I guess this is the reason I love monks and I like to think I bring a lot to the monk class.
And I noticed that you have posted about EST I am in EST, so would be on about the same hours as you.

Although not fortunate enough to possess quite either the breadth or length of experience of some of the prior posters, I would like to throw my hat into the ring for consideration.
I have several years of experience role playing online and in person as both GM and player. I have a great deal of enthusiasm for the role playing aspect of the game in particular; I have a lot of fun taking part in the GM's story as well as those of the other players and furthering my own story.
I also have a fair amount of time on my hands (i.e. I have very little of a life ;)) and I work an afternoon shift at a bakery, so I can post fairly frequently.

Now onto the character that I'm submitting for consideration: I'm interested in playing something of a monster-hunter; a somewhat rogue agent of a church who has dedicated himself to hunting down the darker things in the world which threaten the weak.
In terms of his personality, he is devout in his own way, a bit on the roguish side and intensely independent, and possessing a heart of gold and a secret fear of becoming just the sort of villain that he hunts.

In game terms, I'm leaning towards Chaotic Good Human Male Inquisitor of Iomedae, preferably a gun-wielding one, if allowed :D
If the GM is interested, I will further flesh out the background.

A few more details for me

Neutral Good 1/2 Elf Ranger -

Literally born in a barn because his father wouldn't let his daughter give birth to a Elffen Bastard in his house, Galdor had a childhood that spanned both worlds, but was part of neither. Eventually, his grandfather relented and allowed his mother and new babe into the house, but never warmed to the baby. Galdor grew up fast, displaying agility and skill that obviously came from his elf father, which further alienated him from his grandsire.

Eventually, Galdor met the local elves, and spent as much time as he could sneaking out to join them at their camp. They tolerated his presence, teaching him the ways of the wood (mostly to ensure he didn't get killed on his way to and fro) but never acccepted him as one of their own. Their own prejudices stopped him from being part of their tribe.

None of this broke Galdor's spirit. He knew he was different, and let it pass over him. He used his abilities and became a ranger in the field. Adept with Sword and Bow, he carved a niche for himself helping folks of all sorts deal with issues. He was especially useful during the goblinblood wars in helping deliver families out of harms way.

Liberty's Edge

There are some great characters here!

Please be advised that Lucilla Frost is one of those friends that I hoped would join us here. When I think of PbP done well I think of her. Seriously. She is really good at this!

If it is not too late, I would like to submit a character.

I have an idea for a LN Half Orc Crossblooded Green Draconic / Orc Sorcerer that will eventually go Dragon Disciple. His main skill will be Intimidate, having found that one of the few ways to deal with the antagonism concerning his race is to give in and give them more of the fear they already have. Having earned a reputation in the bars for not being antagonized, and outside the bars for always keeping his word even when people go back on theirs, he has eked out a modicum of respect in town.

As a person, he is terse but mostly polite. He has a soft spot for females and will usually give them a warning before breaking their nose. Whether this comes from the Sisters of the golden Erinyes or his general disposition, he won't say, nor is anyone asking.

He will primarily be a blaster and a Backup melee role with his decent Strength score and long spear, or other polearms after I take one level of barbarian.

As for me, I am a AD&D veteran, having played it for 16 years before switching directly to Pathfinder about a year and a half ago. I have always loved a good story, but tend to lean toward Optimization. I have written one guide for Pathfinder as a result. I am new to PBP, although I have posted more free form in some forums over the years, particularly when I was in college and away from my home group. Since I usually pull 15 hour days on Sundays, I don't post then, but my time is more malleable the rest of the week. At least as malleable as it gets with three children under the age of four.

Sovereign Court

Aidan Ayrvar, Human Druid:

Aidan cursed as the flames licked his face.
Apushi! The soldiers were worse than children. Worse than k'ats. They burned that which did not need burning, and left stand that which was lost.
The war may have been over, but the damage had continued unabated. Any area where goblins left tracks, they were burnt out.
Where they didn't leave tracks, no one seemed to care. Aidan could track goblins if they left tracks, but he couldn't hunt the kendani through burning wilderness, not when soldiers shot to kill, not when they torched even the mayr kaghin, the mother trees.
Aidan tried to keep his accent in check in civilized places, but in the forest, it did not matter. His thoughts were of nature, his words of nature- he need not translate them, not to himself.
No one had taught Aidan the language of the Druids, which he knew made many of his order... uneasy. He didn't care how they felt; not when the forest was burning. He chanced another look behind him, and wished he hadn't. Fire could run faster than any man, even one that knew the world of trees as the back of his own hand. He crashed out of the forest as a draft of wind whipped an inferno over his head, and he rolled coughing down the hill.

To the feet of the highwaymen.

They were startled for a moment, then laughed at their good fortune, and the unlikelihood of the whole encounter. Tkhmar! Aidan scrambled backwards as the men drew swords, gazing at his fur coat and hide boots- valuable as they were. While one man was drawing a blade from his belt, Aidan took the opportunity to kick the masked man in the fork of his legs. The mask laughed as Aidan's boot met metal. Damn, but they were good.

Scrambling to his feet, Aidan barked a command as the soldiers followed him onto the grass, and the wilderness complied. Only one fell, but the rest stopped as the grass grew as long as a man's arm, wrapping their feet in it's embrace. The fire licked at their faces, and Aidan thought some of his hair singed. A bellow exploded from the road, and one man let loose a muffled scream as a bear tackled him.
Good work, Krel, Aidan thought, happy to see his old friend. There was more screaming and bellowing, and the masked man turned around to face the bear, assuming Aidan was of no concern.

That was a mistake.

Aidan grasped at a branch, and asked it very kindly would it please be a good weapon. A moment's consideration, and it complied. Aidan cracked the back of the mask, and blood splattered his cudgel. Off-balance, the man fell into a literal bear hug, and that was the end of his predations on the road.

Aidan cursed once more, smoothing his hair. He took a bandana from one of the men, and inspected a sword. With a look of disgust, he threw it away.

Come on, Krel. Let's get to Haughin's ear, already. We've wasted too much time.
The bear left off eating the dead, and with a huff, fell in behind him.

I've played a lot of RP. 3.5, recently for a long time Pathfinder. I post daily, I enjoy roleplay as well as combat, and I'm not new to PBP.

I'm interested! I have been playing 3.5 for years now and pathfinder since it first came out as both player and GM. While I'm completely new to pbp (had a few aborted attempts years ago that fell through due to real world events) I have had plenty of experience with role playing in gaming.

Stats should be up later in the week.

Zito "Z" Moletti

Spoiler:
Chaotic Neutral Half-Elf Cleric of Calistria with the Charm and Trickery Domains. An orphan of the Goblinblood Wars who "did time", as he calls it, with the church of Asmodeus's orphanage program. Zito was promptly kicked out at age 15 by a kindly priest who was decidely less annoyed with him than the other brothers who simply wanted to sacrifice him and be done with the brat. Zito spent time wandering around Elider enjoying the finest accomadations of the city's overcrowded prisons and the finer work of its underground brothels. It was here while working as a prostitute and sometimes thief he got into his first truly desperate situation. Kidnapped by cultists of Lamashtu who also took several of his friends and coworkers, Zito found himself deep in the Caverns of Chitterwood, a sacrifice to the barghest servants of Lamashtu who led the cult and several goblin tribes. As his friends were one by one devoured, the long suppresed memories of his life before the war flashed before his eyes culminating in the brutal murder of human mother and elven father rangers and the burning of their village. In a cold calculating rage, Zito put the few skills he had to use. Freeing himself of his bindings was easy, he'd had to do that plenty of times. Sneaking up behind his tiny goblin guards, also easy, how many times had he crept right by ever vigilant hellknights to rob nearby stalls for food. Snapping their tiny goblin necks was not only easy but fun. Soon enough he was found out and a terrific fight ensued, Zito using dropped dogslicers to carve up goblins left and right. But it could only last so long and Zito quickly found himself on the bloody sacrificial slab with a goblin wolf monster looming over him. Providence is a funny thing, however, and Zito was saved, barely, by an adventuring group led by a cleric of Calistria. After ripping the goblins to shreds and handidly beheading the barghest, the party retreating with the young half elf in tow. The cleric saw the fire that burned in the boy and after learning of Zito's past saw that perhaps his fickle goddess had found another young subject that struck her fancy. How else, afterall, could a teenage boy slaughter as many goblins as he did all by himself and survive long enough for a party of adventurers investigating the kidnappings to arrive. So the cleric taught him of the Savored Sting, taught him a lusty love of life and swift and terrible vengeance for foes. Giving him a few gold to get him going and the whip he used when he first started adventuring, the cleric dropped him off in Elider to seek his joys and sorrows.

Zito or Z to his friends has a lusty joy of life and thinks little of the stifling bueracracy of Isger. While he sometimes dwells too long on his memories, he is quick to quash them beneath a night of debauchery and drunken passion. Zito is good to his friends, a pain to his enemies and yellow death to goblins.

Liberty's Edge

Thanks for letting me know, Vicissitudes. Maybe we will bump into each other at a different table.

This is Oterisk's Sorcerer's profile. Statistics coming soon, as I find the character fun enough to use elsewhere if I can't use him here.

Thanks for your consideration.

Howdy. Interesting campaign.

Am going to try and put together a cleric of Aroden. Whose powers would, I assume, be treated the same as an ex-cleric, with no atonment provision to regain said powers. If we make it to second level, he would multiclass to a paladin of Aroden.

"Ex-Clerics - A cleric who grossly violates the code of conduct required by her god loses all spells and class features, except for armor and shield proficiencies and proficiency with simple weapons. She cannot thereafter gain levels as a cleric of that god until she atones for her deeds (see the atonement spell description)."

Shadow Lodge

Hi Sigil.
Would you accept tiefling as a race, more specifically the demon-spawn tiefling from fiendish heritage. This variant system for the tiefling was introduced in the Concil of Thieves AP.

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/fiendish-heritage.

I have been playing around with a fighter sorcerer build for dragon disciple.

Hi Sigil,

I'd like to throw my hat in for consideration.

About Me:

I've been playing RPGs for more than 25 years (starting with ol' Basic, then Red-box basic (&ECMI), through AD&D, AD&D2, 3.0, 3.5, Shadowrun (2e-4e), Earthdawn (1e, "Classic" & 3e), 'Mechwarrior (2e), WoD (primarily Mage, Vampire and Werewolf).

I have participated in several PBPs here, sadly, most of them have collapsed due to the loss of the GM (in fact, the same GM in a large number of those cases) - though I am still active in one that "grew out" of We Be Goblins (though that one is a little less RP-deep), and a Carrion Crown campaign.

(Feel free to check out any of those characters/threads to get an idea of my play-style, characterization and what not).

I have no problems with one or more posts during weekdays, and am also in Eastern time.

Character Idea:

If accepted, I'll flesh it out more -- I admit I'm getting a little... gunshy, as it were.. after all of the aborted campaigns.

Taedric Starfell, NG Gnomish Cavalier (of the Shield)

Taedric is a native of Umok, and the only son of an innkeeper's daughter and a local huntsman. He was a mere teenager and apprenticed to a local performer when the Goblinblood war took place, killing his father and resulting in the near-destruction of his home -- he was excited to see the battle and snuck out of the shelters to watch, completely unprepared for the resulting ferocity and destruction -- memories of blood and burning locked into his mind forever.

Unable to take anymore of the horrors, he tried to flee from his hiding spot to find safety, unfortunately for him, he was seen by some of the invaders, and one of the attacking goblins decided it wanted to have a spot of fun with him, chasing him through the fire-riddled alleys and herding him into a dead-end. He closed his eyes as the goblin approached, hearing its wicked laugh and promises of pain, opening them again in shock as the laughing turned to a gurgle. Through the smoke and tears he saw the outline of the Hero of Umok, the paladin sent to save them, astride his mount, pulling his lance from the now-dead goblin.

The sight, and the aftermath of the battle hardened something within him, such that he gave up his bardic training and instead dedicated himself to emulating the image of the one who saved his life, learning to fight on wolfback and dedicate himself to protecting others - those weaker than himself or who lack the will to fight.

(I'm somewhat considering heading toward Battle Herald later, but I'm not sure.)

Never mind. This would be a massively cool PbP to be in, but I'm never going to get a Necromancer games module converted and running here if I keep signing up for other games.

Good luck!

Just weighing in...lots of interesting characters. I do not envy you in narrowing down the group, Sigil. just wanted to say that I am also EST, and I am certainly open to any questions or conversations in the Private Message section. Good luck all!

About me:

I have been playing RPGs for about 16 years. I started with some friends from school playing gurps, move to ad&d than 3rd edition and eventually pathfinder. I still play with my friends in real life but the group changed over the years. We usually manage to get together two or three times a mounth.

I am from Brasil and english is not my native language. My favored type of character is usually the "fifth weel" kind or divine casters. During 3rd edition most of my characters wore druids. I am a strong supporter of multiclassing to build interesting concepts. The class that i like to play the most in pathfinder is the bard but I am already playing one in my RL game and also an evangelist cleric.

I like to build characters with a solid crunch and some degree of optimization but the building process always starts with a role playing concept for him first. I started playing pbp this year and I am in two campaigns here on this forums.

I will be submiting a fighter/sorcerer for your consideration tonight or tomorrow. The idea behind him is to build a switch-hitter dragon disciple. He will use ranged magic on his melee enemies and melee on spellcasters. The character can start as a fighter or sorcerer depending on what the party needs the most.

Indeed! It is a nice problem to have so many good choices!

Thanks for letting me know HolmesandWatson. You may find that waiting is the easiest way to get that mod converted. Frog God seems to be doing them slowly. :) I had some fun contemplating what a cleric of Aroden would be like, so thank you for the mental exercise. All the best with your conversion.

I have a googledoc on my character page that has full disclosure of my character. Now that I have set it to share with anyone who has the link, anyone can go check it out. Now I get to wait for 5 days.

Reading the other entries I noticed somebody else have already come up with a Dragon Disciple concept. I guess we all read the guide on the forums I thought to myself. Than I realise Osterisk actually is the guy who wrote that guide!
Dude, awesome guide!
I will see if I can come up with another concept and post it soon.

Liberty's Edge

LOL! I was just about to write you a note about already having one Dragon Disciple interested!

Everyone who has posted a character concept in this thread has a private message now (except Merck, and Lucilla Frost) about thier character. A few have responded, but I want to be sure that everyone knows to look right by thier name, at the very top of the page for messages.

Thanks again all for the time and effort you have put into this thus far, and your faith in me! :)

I heard that Lucille Frost was the person to learn how to do PBP the best so I would like to join your campaign if you will have me :)and yes I will be playing my cleric that never got off the ground the last time I tried this.

Nooooooooooooooooo!

Don't make fun of me. Or, even worse, don't hold me up as a paragon (not even of geekyness).

My character will be Elinor Knutsdottir, a CG Linnorn fighter on the run after being on the losing end of a clan feud.

Hey, thanks! To tell you the truth, it has been fun to see all the people who want to play Dragon Disciples around. It's like going down the street and seeing someone who is wearing the same team jersey as I am. The crazy thing is that there are so many flavors of DD, it really is fun to see what people want and how they want to build them, and for what reason.

Abbas is a former squire of Cheliax. His Abadaran father could not see him entering the ruthless and amoral Hellknights. Ever. Instead Abbas has come East to help protect the trade routes of Isger in his father's name.

It's a simple mission which is good where Abbas is concerned. Simple and good sums this warrior up nicely.

In his own words, "I got work to do, hope it helps."

I am getting a good vibe from reading about this adventure. Plus it's an interesting area to begin in - goblins and undead oh my! For myself I have played in many pbps on these boards, several of which fell by the wayside and one or two I ran myself.
Gaming wise I do not have the brown books either, but otherwise I'd say I'm fairly experienced at this. Recently I started writing for Raging Swan Press and I've got a CR11 NPC to fluff up today when my daughter has a nap. Yep, I am a house husband living in the UK and posting should not be a problem.

Cheers

Okay - the old timers on this forum have me excited--so I will jump on another recruitment thread. Here is my character a Magus with the staff archetype.

Named after an awesome Zelazny character and book, the Madwand is ready to join.

If the Magus with the magic staves is too much--I can do a dwarf zen archer or an aasimar cleric.

My roots go way back too. Hence my main alias Chainmail (doubt any of you remember the game Chainmail).

No apology needed. It is a brand new system. I just wanted to provide a bump to those that had not seen it.

So, my experience with roleplaying goes way back. Matter of fact I am running my own homebrew campaign adapted to Pathfinder (Dwarves vs Elves).

The Madwand has been pressured by his father to become a great wizard--but he has found he does much better with staves. The incredible pressure he has put on himself to succeed drives him as much as his basic desire to do good.

Would have to adjust for 15pt build if chosen.

Hi Sigil.
This is Merck again and this is the other concept I would like to submit for your consideration.

Okay the private message thing won't open :P

Hello Sigil. I am submitting Seneca Lucianus for your consideration. His crunch and backstory are in his profile along with my RPG experience. Good luck with your selection process.

Looking forward to the Start of this campaign!

Selections have been made and communicated via message. I never expected so many good characters to choose from. The selection process was not easy and in the end I hope I made the right choice.

Please consider this thread and recruitment closed.

So not to drag a thread out of the grave, but does anyone know what's happening with this campaign? I haven't heard from Sigil since the acceptance email.
