Gonna move to C12 and try this ray of frost thing again.
Moving diagonally past Sig, Frostine moves up while concentrating on the snow and ice back home. Envisioning hitting the creature with ice, Frostine stretches out her hands and closes her eyes as she wills her power to work. Please...please hit that stupid beast.
Concentrating on her spell she wills it to slow down the beast.
DC 14 fortitude save or be slowed

Finally pulling on the power within her, she barely manages to graze the beast with a chilling blast. As she opens her eyes she asks, "Did I get it?"
Shadrath misses the beast by an inch, while Frostine's spell hits its target. It seems to have a greater effect than anticipated.

It manages to shrug off the extra effect.
