Chancre comes to at 3 HP, blinks at Roshan, and says, "Some people do not like discussing theology."
"Thanks." He squints at his comrades. "Who else needs healing?"
Roshan silently points back at Chancre, then, after a moment, follows up with Miril and Anevia as well.

"Если это для ее здоровья, то тот человек пьет его," quips Míril quietly as she holds her head.
"Для, не. Easy mistake to make," Konstantin says.
"I have two more of those, and two more uses of the scale today. Anevia? Merle?"
"Other than the poison I'm waiting on, I'm fine. I agree with Roshan... you as the healer are the most valuable amongst us. If I die, I die. If you die, we all die."
Konstantin pauses, regarding the lizard. "Would any of you happen to be a butcher?"

"And yourself," Drea says to Roshan.
Once Drea is sure that all of her allies are being attended to and in good condition, she says, "A question that may merit a quick answer - what is to be our policy towards wounded enemies for the time being?"
"I'd prefer to spare their lives if we can."
Konstantin Argentaev |
"I'd prefer to spare their lives if we can."
"Depends. If you're talking about an unconscious enemy, I don't suggest cutting any throats. I do not believe we should commit our limited healing resources to anyone bleeding to death."
He pauses. "These are allied with the monsters on the surface and are the sworn enemies of those who took us in, gave us healing, and fed us. I am not inclined to be merciful."

He rummages around the two rooms a little more before approaching her and holds out his hand.
Míril shoots Roshan a rueful smile. "OK, I take your point. But I still think I'm more effective up close and shouldn't be so quick to pick up the bow as opposed to my sword. Drea probably would have been less hurt if I had been up there with her."

He pauses. "These are allied with the monsters on the surface and are the sworn enemies of those who took us in, gave us healing, and fed us. I am not inclined to be merciful."
"I still am. If it's judged by those who wish to weigh in to be too much of a danger to our group, our allies, or our cause, then I will refrain from mercy. But if it's primarily a matter of resources, I'd like to at least try to staunch their bleeding by hand."

The Dreamer Lost in Twilight wrote:"I have antitoxin," she says to Konstantin, drawing a bottle out of her pack and offering it to him. "It should help you throw off the effects."Konstantin accepts it. "My thanks."
He uncorks the vial, raises it to Drea in a toast. "Для вашего здоровья." Then downs it in a gulp.
Thick white-yellow liquid starts to bubble out from the needle marks left behind by the lizard.
Antitoxin improved Kon's Fort roll from a 11 to a 16 - no dexterity damage.
Samirah moves her gaze over to the silent companion of the woman who won't let her out. "Sure, yeah, the Maze Master." She waits to see if the man looks at her or not, and if he does, she's going to give her best come-hither look. To the woman: "If you're going somewhere, can you leave your friend behind? More than the disappointing lack of light, what really gets me down is that there's no one to talk to while you're away!"
When no one is speaking to her, however, Samirah is now listening more closely to the battle outside.
The man doesn't look at her. In fact in the day or so that Samirah has been here, the tiefling has been remarkably uninterested in her. The only time you've seen any emotion in the man is when he dragged out the other prisoner - and that just seemed to be a grim satisfaction.
The woman moves over to squat in front of Samirah, a smug smile mixing with the sigh, "You'd make such a good convert, with as well as you lie. But for now you are doing so only for your own petty benefit, not for the betterment of the world. There is so much you could do if you followed the right path."
Her head cocks as the sounds of combat die abruptly. She looks at her partner, "Either that spider-thing will have a report or we will have some people for this one," totally patting Samirah on the head, "to chat with."
She moves into the larger room, where at least two of the tables are still stained maroon with the blood from sacrifices, leaving the door open.

Roshan gets up from butchering the lizard, walks over to the dying archer and attempts to stop her life's blood from leaving her body. He then rises to a stance like sitting in a chair, puts his hands together again and pulls them apart quickly, then raises them palms upward before his head goes slightly askew as his right hand raises above his neck and jerks upwards, his tongue lolling out. Again, his palms go upward, before refocusing his attention on the dying woman.

He holds his hands up, freshly cleansed by magic, with not a trace of the archer's blood on them.

After being patted on the head, and realizing how much time she'd wasted by being nice, Samirah's simpering smile disappears and is quickly replaced by an ugly fury that furrows her brow, and causes her to thrash around on the floor. Like a child. She begins to yell as the woman leaves the room.
"How DARE you! You're lucky I can't slip these ropes, you harpy! I'd..." she takes a deep breath, apparently searching for an appropriate threat, "I'd cut you into pieces, feed you to your tiefling pet, then cut HIM into pieces, and sacrifice the pieces to your Master of Mazes!"
I'm gonna say her tantrum is too wild for an (intentional) intimidation check. :)
