Bartleby Nutmeg |
Bartleby rocks back and forth on his heels animatedly. Next to him is Martin a huge ape, and curled on the ground are the animated necromantic creations of Bartleby, two skeletal lions. While macabre, they are just a collection of bloodied bones. Bartleby has attempted to reduce their overall ick factor by wrapping them in some rags and covering them in some canvasses.
Probably have my pony along too, not sure. Don't want a huge menagerie of stuff though.
Kale "Seascum" |
Feel free to roll these kinds of things for me, in general. Speeds things up.

Bartleby Nutmeg |
Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Bartleby claps his hands together rapidly and squeals a sort of childlike high pitched shriek of excitement.
Pondering the carriage, Bartleby decides to fold up his lions into a some large bags and carry them.
GM of Set |
What you see as the carriage finally pulls up is not what you expected
The carriage is trimmed in gold and other precious stones and metals. The wood looks like darkwood. The smell is that of brand new wood.
The driver is cloaked, but one can see imprints of pointed ears, so some sort of elf, but nothing else can be seen of the driver
The horse... well. Those things arent normal horses.
This eerie horse-like creature's skin is an inky blackness. Fire spurts from its hair and nostrils, and its hooves spray sparks.
These horses are Nightmares. Extra planar. Usually evil creatures. They can fly. Hence no hoof sounds. And their smoke is not a good idea inhale

Janji |
Janji calls to the driver. "Hello, sir! I assume you are our ride for this evening?" Janji looks at the horses with mild terror. "L-lovely horses you have here!"
GM of Set |
The coachman simply turned to look at the speaker, then back to the front
Inside the coach a old sounding voice came
"Ah... good to know people responded. Please come inside and we can go. I wish to have this matter settled before my mistress returns"
As he finished speaking, the door opened. Inside is the same old man who set up the posters. The inside was just as intricate as the outside. Expensive materials. Lush seats and bejeweled trimmings

Kale "Seascum" |
"Follow along Amir."
Kale clambers into the coach. "Who is your mistress anyway?"

GM of Set |
She is my mistress. Human I believe. Rich and powerful." he says in his shaky voice.
You will notice that outside you have been traveling. Woods woosh by, as you go deeper into what seems like a forest.
unless u have more questions, you will arrive at her place to do the job

GM of Set |
"All i know is the lower floor is over run by large spiders, completely messed up the reception hall, i heard rumours as the staff fled that on an upper level on of the Mistress's trophies came to life, from there i am not sure, non of the staff from the upper floors came down..." you can hear the fear in his voice
Bartleby Nutmeg |
Bartleby's eyes grow large and the pupils dilate, like a cat's who sees a bug crawling up the wall. "Fascinating!" His short legs kick and he fidgets in his seat, and he peers out the window often. "Hey Martin! Ready for some strangeness?" He asks his trusted ape companions sitting next to him.
Riggar |
Riggar gets out of the carriage at looks at the imposing black structure before him. He rubs his beard, and thinks what it could be made out of to "absorb" light the way it does.
craft: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 30
yes, craft (smith/armor) I have +13. Not counting the spell bonus since it isn't always there
Bartleby Nutmeg |
"Oooooh", says Bartleby as he hops from the carriage. "Come Martin." He has his huge ape help unload the skeletal lions bundled in packs and unfolds them and gets them back out.
"Fancy Tower."
GM of Set |
This entire tower, is made of Adamantine. Even more so... not a single seam. If this was carved out of this large of adamant, you have no idea who could be this perfect. That. Or it was magically put here
You are at the front doors.
As the old man climbs out, the coach leaves
"Well, here we are, you have to work your way up the tower. So you can clean it out. Once again, thank you for helping me"

Riggar |
Riggar's jaw drops as he realizes what he is staring at...
This place, is incredible. The whole thing be made o adamantite. The real stuff, whoever made this, I sure hope were a dwarf. No seams, cracks...just flawless stone. Beaty she is.
He than turns to the old man, are there any wards we should know about?
Bartleby Nutmeg |
Answering through a mouthful of cookies, "shhurre, rlets grooh!"
Bartleby fires up a light spell and some detect magic and gives a thumbs up, Martin close by and flanked by his 'pet' lions.
GM of Set |
Kale walks up to the doors and taps on them with his Guisarme.
As you get close to the doors, they simply slide open, revealing a dark unlit area.
You see a lot of spider webs here, the place has been trashed. If this was a reception hall, it won't be for a while again
Riggar |
Riggar, looks at the...reception hall, or what used to pass as one. He looks at the mass of webs, trying to spot if there are any lurking spiders.
per: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Not spotting anything, he takes his hammer and starts to bash the webs down.
