About me;
-Starting to PBP
-English is not my first languaje, if you´re going to use slang or bad english be sure I can understand it (a little translation in discussion or spoilered will be great)
-I´ll make the initiative checks for combat, and some saves (the ones I need inmediatly the result).
-Feel free to make suggestions to improve the game
-Have all your character sheet copied in paizo, I can´t reliable check other webs.
-I can only be sure to make 1 post from monday to friday(GMT+1). I´ll usually can make more, but not always.
We start on monday if we have 6 players (with full character sheet), or 4, if you feel brave. Dot with your PFS character number, level, and telling us if you have played this scenario before.
Three seats reserved

.
I have played this scenario before. Will get my level 2 updates into the profile and post my PFS number when I get to a computer larger today.
Kelsier Palance |
Actually, I'm thinking about skipping The Confirmation with this character. Mind if I run a 0xp alt instead?

I have this magical cleric here, not sure whether I hold a reserved seat. He is number 150618-48, and I've played The Confirmation three times before.
Korvalis Kembai |
This is Kelsier's alt.
I should know about one of the other reserved seats by tonight.
Korvalis Kembai |
He looks pretty sweet. Where do the extra 10 feet of move come from?

Forums ate my profile twice. I put up a skeletal profile for now, I have to head to work. I will post a more fully detailed character sheet when I get home or if I get time when I'm at work. I think I have all the pertinents up there!
Sadly, this guy won't get going good until 3rd, but his attitude should make him fun to be around...and he has some decent skills.
Korvalis Kembai |
Not sure how to introduce my character in this situation. He's basically very power-hungry. It's the core of everything he is.

@ Korvalis, you ask for the movement and not for the 20HP!!! (I know, it´s legal, but...)
Also, I suggest if you are power-hungry you should ask yourself wich kind of power he seeks (mistical, physical, political, financial), and use adjetives related to that power in your presentation (or when you have and opportunity as it is your core motivation). For example:
Greetings Janira, surely we will endure this trial, If there´s harm in our trial, you can count with my weapons. (Physical)
Greetings Janira, surely we will success in this endeavour, I have an eye for business and this journey look promising. (financial).
P.D. I know you have introduce yourself now, but maybe it will help you to flesh your conversations.

Sheet fully updated. And actually this character only has Slumber for level 1, since he doesn't get his real abilities until level 2. That is going to get replaced with Point Blank for when I start hurling cards everywhere. And at 3rd level...SPELLS
Kelsier Palance |
I thought of phrases like that but all mine were kind of over the top.
His goal is to become a Dragon Disciple.

I'll be out of pocket some this Thursday-Monday. I should be able to post 1/day still but probably not much more than that. We'll see.

Is there anyone playing that HASN'T played Confirmation before? I just want to know at what level of precursor knowledge we will be dealing with...For the record, I think I have 8 or so Confirmation certs...
Korvalis Kembai |
This is my third or fourth time. I'm pretty sure Muirdarcaien has never played it before.

I think we usually had to pass the checks, but the other way sounds reasonable for this specific scenario as well.
Jacen "Ace" Doals |
Yeah, the pearl has the dumbest DC to identify. It's impossible without using a spell. That said, I have always just chosen NOT to give the pearl and give stuff that was more easily identified. Further, there is only one commonly known magic pearl type, so if you are a prepared caster and have spellcraft at all, you have probably heard of it and can figure out what it is...by deductive reasoning.
Jacen "Ace" Doals |
Same...in one I'm running. Didn't realize Helmm and Telos were one in the same...
Korvalis Kembai |
I saw that, thanks.
Oykiv |
The minotaur is dead and you only have to tell Janira about your findings.
Please give me the information to redact the chronicles:

Constructive criticism: while the players still have to hold up their end of things, at least 1 post/day from the GM, even if it's just a recap, can often help the pace of the game move a little faster.
Not sure that I have anything else. Thanks for running this. :)

Sorry to have been so absent at the end...my lack of connectivity was unanticipated.
Thanks so much for running this! I think you did a great job!

And about Korvalis tip, well 1/day is hard for my in weekends, I have a 2years old kid who don´t let me so much free time, so I try to tell that beforehand. But I´ll try to do the recap to sumarize the situation
Korvalis Kembai |
Oh, no posts on weekends is a pretty common thing. I didn't mean to critique that part (although of course, posting on the weekend can sometimes speed up the pace of the game).
I understand how it with kids though--I have a 2-year-old myself.
