That definitely sounds like Raelle.
Plus he's an engineering genius. And the only other folks who meet that qualification are Iron Man and the Doctor. So yeah.....dang it! I did not do this on purpose!
(Confession: I always liked Wesley as a character and didn't actually find him annoying.)lynora |
Guys I'm sorry but I have to drop this here... Lynora I have so much sympathy for you right now.....
My players were awakened by a creature battering down a pair of double doors at the end of a hall. They scramble and move to defend, its dark and they cast a light spell... I tell them they see a red eye peering through the top of the door, and the creature is covered in black fur.
I say that they could attempt attack rolls if they so choose.
*Sigh* They roll two natural twenties, to try to identify the creature....
They then proceed to roll only single digits to attack... in melee... waiting until after this creature rips down the door...
I was counting on them getting a couple of attacks in, enough to drive this monster away... Instead they want to be eaten.
Moral of the story...Player Characters never do what you think they will...
And this is why I never plan farther than scene intro. Everything after that is gonna be improv anyways...might as well save myself some time.

Unless I am severely mistaken, Ace does not know that Zilla was murdered. I've been operating under the impression that he only knows about Kitty and Ginni's deaths.

He and Keme were sharing info, and Keme knew about Zilla, so Ace probably does too.

George Takei's facebook post about it:
Today, the world lost a great man, and I lost a great friend. We return you now to the stars, Leonard. You taught us to "Live Long And Prosper," and you indeed did, my friend. I shall miss you in so many, many ways.
Made me kinda tear up a little.
@ice: Leonard Nimoy played Spock on the original Star Trek and the older Spock on the rebooted Star Trek.

So my whole family has been down with a cold this weekend. Fun times. (Not really.)
And today is looking spectacularly unproductive since the kidlet is not yet better and thus is home from school. Well, hopefully I will at least be able to find time to post. Gotta make the best of this somehow.

.......and you know you've hit bottom on trying to entertain a fractious child when you start showing the pictures of crafts on Pinterest in the hopes that something anything will distract them from the whining.....help me........ ;P
Okay, he's currently distracted by an episode of Generator Rex....I might actually have a few minutes....

FYI, so you guys know why I may (or may not be, situation is pretty up in the air right now) be a bit scarce for the next while. My grandfather had a stroke this past thanksgiving and has been in the hospital since. He had another stroke yesterday. There is a good chance that he will pass in the next few days, but of course they don't know anything for sure. He's in his nineties and has been hospitalized for over three months now, so really it's surprising he's lasted this long. But again, right now we just have to wait and see, since it's likely that it will be soon I am trying to get through all the things that need doing this week in as little time as possible to make sure that everything is taken care of if we have to go to a funeral.
This doesn't mean I am going to stop posting. No one can be sad all the time and I'm going to need some moments to get away from all of this mentally now and again. But I'm also going to be pressed for time for the next two to three days. And may end up doing it all again next week. I just wanted to let you guys know what's going on.

Lynora, I understand the situation and I feel for you. Don't take any time here that you don't want to. This is a game for relieving your stress, and if you need to take the time off, go. Don't bother giving us another heads up, just go. As we keep saying, Real Life comes first. I hope that everything turns out for the better..
:/

Well, I think I'm done with the majority of the running around. A couple errands left, but I'm leaving those until we know when we have to travel. In the meantime it's pretty much just hurry up and wait. Thanks for being understanding, guys.
Let's see if I can get a post or two up before kidlet's karate class is over.....

Umm...
Wat?
I haven't even talked to Lyn about it, due to it being something I wouldn't want to run until much, much later.
The premise of it already being here is why I'm chucking it.
That, and i don't have the guts to submit ideas, most of the time.
And ideas are more work for Lyn, last thing she needs right now, I'd think.
Short version-
Forget I said anything.

icehawk333 wrote:Out of curiosity, would the library actually have a copy of the book of the damned?
Pretty sure it does, though the 'school' might limit access due to mind/soul scans or some other epic method of determination.
That's my two cents.
Yep, that's pretty accurate.

The full version, vs the three books that are actual Paizo products, is an incredibly powerful, very evil artifact, and is not at all easy to put together.
Unless Lyn doesn't care, I would suggest what the library has is either parts of the whole thing, or perhaps a much weaker version.
Kinda like how one does not just stumble across the complete Infinity Gauntlet randomly in Marvel
Edit: Lyn, you *should* have a PM from me, provided it didn't get eaten.
