Having recovered the grim latern, and having went back to tell Birdy the place is not as dangerous as she thinks, the group parts looking for adventure to a "better" place; Allenstead, a border village on the edge of Razmiran. Ulisha’s notebook contains a map and directions to Allenstead, and the PCs’ journey to the village is uneventful.

Excepts from Ulisha’s Journal (colony)
Different cultures’ treatment of the gods is a point of endless fascination for me. Consider the Rahadoumi and their Laws of Man, rejecting the gods despite the plagues and deserts that eat away at their lands. Others such as the Nidalese have sworn themselves entirely to one god who grants his followers power at a punishing price. The small nation of Razmiran is much like Nidal, in that the people pay homage to a most curious deity: a “Living God” who lives among his people. Don’t be fooled by his talk of prosperity for all. The Razmiri are an underhanded lot, and I recently heard that the village of Allenstead—once staunchly against the god Razmir—had all converted to Razmir’s worship. Apparently, a priest bearing a jeweled rod recently paid Allenstead a visit and won everyone over within a day. It’s obvious that some dastardly magic is at work here, and that the priest’s golden scepter is at the crux of it all. I wonder what it’s worth?

Diplomacy (gather information) or Knowledge (history, local, religion) DC 10:

Worship of Razmir began in the River Kingdoms, where it spread quickly and led to the creation of a theocracy. Allenstead has always resisted conversion despite being on the very edge of Razmiri territory.

Diplomacy (gather information) or Knowledge (history, local, religion) DC 15:

Razmir is known as the Living God, a man who claims to have ascended to divinity by completing the Test of the Starstone. His faithful preach law, luxury, and obedience.

Diplomacy (gather information) or Knowledge (history, local, religion) DC 20:

Razmiri wear identical masks to conceal their identities, but the material the masks are made of denote one’s position in the clergy: gold is above silver, and silver is above iron.

In Allenstead
Allenstead consists of a few dozen buildings built along either side of a solitary dirt road that leads from Razmiran to a ferry dock on the West Sellen River. At the center of the village, construction is nearly complete on a large stone statue of a Razmiri priest that stands nearly 20 feet in height. The head of the statue peers down at a stage.

You can move around and talk with people in the village. map changed, villagers will appear as I have time

Then, realizing the half-orc is pointing the statue too he continues: Folloch has entrusted us with a sacred task. We must erect a magnificent monument worthy of Razmir’s greatness.

When Poog scares one of the villager due to his rudness, a villager more brave moves toward him What´s happening here? Why did you bother poor Jhon?

Fortunately for Poog, Diplomacy is not neccesary to make questions

The villager questioned by Rixian tells him Oh, you must be refering to Folloch, I don´t know his work had been heared far away.

I do not know where he is now, but he will be here at noon, as he always is. Folloch never misses his daily sermon.

"Don't you go spoiling my fun, cleric!" Staring down the head villager in the small band facing him, Hakon unleashes another fierce warcry. As they move in, he lashes out with twin axes, rapping arms and legs and ribs with the flat butt of his weapons.

Attack, Hand Axe MH, NONLETHAL: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (14) + 2 - 4 = 12
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Attack, Hand Axe OH, NONLETHAL: 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (15) + 2 - 4 = 13
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

For clarity, I'm using nonlethal damage, so as not to kill, but primarily trying to make it easier for the others to catch the priest. I forgot that this is not quite a standard combat scenario, and also that I can't demoralize and fight simultaneously. adjusting some actions.

Poog glares at all her blockers and a mad idea goes throgh her mind. She can't go through cause they're blocking her path?

Then she'll treat them like a wall to be climbed over.

A loud roar and short leap sends her whole body over the first few people and flat onto their heads and shoulders before she mimics climbing skills learnt in the far northern mountains. Her arms and legs moving swiftly but in short swift movements enabling to use heads, hair, shoulders and the ocassional unfortunate noses as grips to send her up or in this case forward.

Climb 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Rix picks himself off, realizing his companions have all had much more success escaping the crowd. Hopefully they didn't see him trip either.

"Well atleast I can just follow the sounds of Hakon and Oloch...."

Rooting around in his bag he pulls out a long grey stick. A spoken word and a rap against the ground causes noxious smoke to billow from the end of the grey tube. Throwing it at the path made by Hakon's gentle ministrations, he dashes through the smoke, cloak wrapped around his face to keep the worst of the smell out.

Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Used a smokestick that the pre-gen had, figure that now's a good time. According to Raw you can make a stealth check while in concealment. I think it works, not 100% though.

Chase round two recap
-Oloch continues his bullrush through the remaining crowds
-Kyra tries to reason with a mob, without results As expected. Which kind of mob reason at all?
-Poog steps over legs, shoulders and heads to climb over people,
-Rixian disspaears in a smoke fog. His steealth don´t last long, but is enough to shorten his distance to the razmiran cleric. It´s ok for me, and looks great in the scene
-Hakon drops unconscious two villagers, wich isn´t enogh to have a path, but maybe he can use this to demoralize the others
-Kess decides it´s enough and starts yelling at the villagers, who fall back in fear

7 success. You only need 3 more and Hakon has 2 rolls due to combat not being and option
