Carefully considering your options you decide it's better not to be found into the castle and spend more precious time explaining yourselves (without mentioning opening yourselves up to retaliation from the sheriff...). You gather up your stuff and exit the castle, horses and ghouls in tow, then it's a matter of minutes for Vito to lead you to the opening half hidden on the riverbank. Originally you think the entrance here was sealed by iron bars but it seems they rusted away thanks to the damp climate.
Cautiously you enter the sewers and just after a few steps darkness envelopes you almost completely. Unless you can use supernatural means or some form of illumination it seems this jurney will be pretty unpleasant for for the lot of you!
Describe your actions from here and please tell me if your ghouls are with you. Your horses cannot be forced to enter the opening nor to climb down on the rivrbank without proper (and comples) assistance

Bertrand turns to his ghoul Philippe, "Attend to me with a torch in hand. Lead the way! Jenny stay behind with the horses, we will be back, well most of us should anyway even if it is screaming and running out of the tunnel in terror!"
Bertrand awaits Philippe's start into the tunnels.
Sorry, I was sick as all hell this weekend or I would have posted sooner.
Edouard "Edward" Trebaol |
Edouard knows that the torches will destroy any night sight he has, and pulls a patch over one eye so as to preserve night vision in the event of sudden changes, it is an old pirate trick though the differences among pirates and gypsies has been debated by no one.
"Is this the way we are going to do this?"
Bertrand Auton |
Seeing Lachlan shakes his head Bertrand laughs, "Its an adventure Sir Knight, get excited our journey begins here and now!"
Bertrand seems anxious to move in but waits for his ghoul with the torch to take the lead, he might even let Master Lintini go first too since he is so comfortable in the dark....
