Keddenmark, the Western Realm of Arcavelon (the name of the continent you find yourself on), is much more heavily forested than its neighbor to the east. The current ruler, King Alevander of Keddenmark, has ruled fairly for the last twelve years alongside his adjacent regent, Queen Gwenehart. Keddenmark is much more forested and rugged than Nivmadas but its citizenry have adapted well and are hardy folk.

Locales

Balend's Field, Windwhisper Range, The Spiritwaste, Amryth Steppes, Loerith Weald, Relven Deepwoods, Uthen Swamp, Graystorm Coast, Frostfangs, Candlewood, Stonewrought Crags.

Quick Gazetteer of Nivmadas

Spoiler:

Capital: Silverfall (37,210)
Notable Settlements: Sturmwatch (11,320), William's Rest (8,760), Bastinne (4,920), Ariellons (2,430)

Nivmadas, in stark contrast to rugged Keddenmark, Nivmadas is a calm and tranquil region of vast fields and hills. Queen Gwenehart leads her people with grace and dignity and together with King Alevander has made the continent of Arcavelon a mainly secure land. Renowned more for its artists and merchants than the hunters and farmers of Keddenmark, Nivmadas welcomes opportunities to trade with its neighbors.

Locales

The Greatlake, Kjald Northlands, Raven's Heath, Lost Hills, Goldenmarch,
Vinderglen, Timberline Forest, Galevade Basin, The Pendellwater, Hylinde Crater, Thistlemoor.

Religion in Arcavelon

Spoiler:

Though the Church of Eveldine is the only recognized religion, they do not necessarily follow a strict dogma based on domains. Knights, Paladins, Clerics, Oracles and other worshippers of Eveldine still form a singular church and religion. However, clerics follow their own paths, reminded only of Eveldine's desire to save the world no matter the consequences. As well, numerous Druidic sects exist throughout the wilderness as well as more occult forces ranging from necromancy to demonology. Demons, and all manner of evil outsiders are hunted upon sight though necromancy is a little different. In fact, dhampir for example are an accepted race, though the world remains quite superstitious about them. Intelligent undead with free will and the capacity to not murder and slay on sight are simply avoided and left alone. On the subject of domains and beliefs, clerics and other classes choose two domains which they feel a strong tie to.
