Web enhancement puts this encounter after the fall of the temple and while pursuing the next BBEG. It was a response to the fall of the temple, but since the temple was attacked and you left, I re-arranged it to here.

For everyone I am going on vacation limited time and/or internet access will be “out” for the next 12 days or so.

Ok so officially it looks like we have lost Minniwick and Erine is making an exit soonish.

So looks like we may need to recruit an arcane caster.

I think the way to do it is to open a recruitment thread and let the current players vote on who will enter the game.

While you are recruiting, we are collectively about as subtle as a lumber wagon. You might see if any sneaky-types are interested. I could be persuaded to trade out Edrukk, but that just creates a different hole as he is the primary healer and I don't want to ask Canvy to change so drastically as to fill that role.

My thinking is to open a recruitment thread and let you guys decide who to bring in from anyone who applies, that makes things a bit different.

If however someone wants to change a current PC into something else I suggest we do the following.

1. Finish the current portion of the game
2. Rebuild existing PC(s)
3. Creative problem solve (such as a "talisman of madness" a MW non-magical item) that allows party members (only) to heal when Canvy (only) channels negative energy....
4. Recruit new players

So how about we start the character re-vamp discussion....you will all be 7th level for the next part of the journey.

Sanstree is going into Mystic Theurge and staying pretty much the same as he is currently.

Broccan ?
Canvy ?
Edrukk ?
Erine ?

Please note you can change just about anything up to and including a brand new character, or as little as just adding a level to your current character.

Gear should be around 25,000 gold.....Several things on gear If it is a strange item found as treasure we can discuss how it counts towards the 25K.

For example Edrukk has the buchaneer's breastplate (just b/c I am awesome) but its cost would be 23,850..so the "math" doesn't work!

I would be more than happy to sell the breastplate and share the proceeds with the rest of the party to keep things more even.

I'm tempted to modify Edrukk's class to the playtest warpriest. I need to look at what that will actually do to him. Are ability score changes allowed if necessary to make it workable?

You can change anything....up to and including ability scores.

Maybe just call gear an even 32 k, but not all spent on one big item.

If you have designs on a divine caster, don't let Edrukk stop you. I can certainly retire him; I am looking at warpriest because it is more like my original concept than what he is currently. I'm not totally dependent on the character if you have something you want to run with.

KK, I've been working on making Edrukk a warpriest. I'm pretty much leaving him alone other than class features because I just don't want to take the time to start from scratch. You can look at the rebuild here.

I am currently working feverishly on the Demonskar legacy.....(and looking to convert a mythic level add on to the end of the AP)...
After this all that is left is to storm/sneak into the keep and confront the baron....

Thanks - if we end up with 'too many' divine characters after everyone's proposed their rebuilds, I can re-do him, but after looking at the warpriest, he's less of a cleric than I realized. Which is fine, as I'm playing him as a warrior with healing, anyway.

In a nutshell, if someone wanted to play a full-on cleric, I don't think we would get in each other's way at all. Edrukk is unlikely to do much channeling in combat, for example, because of the relatively few opportunities he gets per day.

Which reminds me - are you OK with my interpretation of the Extra Channeling feat (which he had pre-rebuild)? I can swap it out if you feel that it is not appropriate for this character class.

Been looking at Inner Sea Gods and the prestige classes, or stay with the mad Canvy. Not sure for 7th level, will be taking a good look....

In that sense, was even thinking Paladin of Shelyn, Warrior of Light archetype, Prestige Evangelist. I will take a bit more time, if people don't like her then no problem tinkering with the madman Canvy.


Also thinking bard ... to take Prestige Evangelist, Sheylyn ...

Probably not that well built, originally thinking the guy would stay at range, cos he has such a rubbish AC, but he likes to perform with his rapier.

So lets get down to 3 choices,
Mad Canvy slightly rebuilt,
a female paladin/evangelist of Shelyn with no magic
or a male bard evangelist of Shelyn.
