"Well, there is this helpful little spell called color spray, that'll surprise 'em."Wrigsolar mutters, "Why do we care about the suspicions of the citizens? This part of the city, I'm pretty sure everyone has seen a fight break out."

Wrigsolar, being a barrister extraordinaire, knows that brawls between workers and sailors alike are commonplace in the docks, but actual combats with weapons and magic are rare, and tend to alert the watch. The busy streets would delay their coming though, and if properly quick the assailants could escape the scene before the guards arrive.

"We have the best mead in our warehouse, no need to waste gold on these watered-down pints of piss!" one of the Ulfen laughs.

Pushing.

Jaïr and Yâble zigzag through the busy streets of Absalom with the clueless Ulfen guards with them. Eventually they get bored with the wild goose chase.

"We won't be finding them like this. Better we turn back and get back to warehouse, maybe they come to search Bengeirr instead. We strike then," Sven says.

The other Ulfen men seem to buy Jaïr story by now. "Sure, let's get back." It will take some time before they return.

Meanwhile at the warehouse Sagart decides to make a move. As she yells out to Bengeirr several by-standers turn to look at Sagart first, then the hot Summer sky which bears no visible sign of a looming storm. Furthermore the Ulfen guard left on the outlook raises a brow and walks closer towards Sagart, hand on the axe's handle. "Oy, what är you yelling about? No storm here, begone!"

I'm going ahead and go forward with this lest we get stuck in this limbo for another three weeks.

But Sagart was ready to bang the guard coming through the door, and one Ulfen man coming up from behind doesn't make much of a difference, so she swings the hammer right to the man's face. The onslaught creates a panic on the streets, and the crowd almost instantly disperses with horrified screams.

Wrigsolar's electric bolt flash from his hands and electrocutes the Ulfen man, who momentarily shakes violently in place and then drops to the ground, clothes smoking slightly. The crowd around you has almost completely dispersed albeit some remain to watch the combat. You hear loud whispers, commenting the onslaught. "Would you look at that, fried the man to a crisp!"

Using simple hand gestures, while herself getting in position on the east side of the smaller cutout door, the cleric suggests an ambush in order to gain some advantage over who comes through the opening. A question to Jaïr and Yâble; do you want to lure the Ulfen men with you to a trap elsewhere, lose them in the city, or just walk with them towards the warehouse? Any other option is good too, just detail it. It helps me determine how the Ulfen guards arrive at the scene, if ever.

Bardic performance distraction dc 14

and than... Stealth!

stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

The bard's distraction performance is, oddly, only applicable against illusions and magic, not to drive attention away from oneself. So instead I'm going to have to use D&D 3.5's rules for creating a diversion to hide as this bit of rules seems to be missing from PFRPG...

GM:

Yâble's bluff to create diversion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Guard's sense motive: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20 Guard fails
Guard's perception (+ distracted + distance (30ft)): 1d20 + 1 - 5 - 3 ⇒ (2) + 1 - 5 - 3 = -5

The ulfen guard seems to have lost Yâble, as he seems to ignore anything that sounds fancy. So in effect both Jaïr and Yâble lose the Ulfen guards, who remain at the market, unsure where their warehouse is now.

Meanwhile at the warehouse the combat continues, while most of the crowd has dispersed. While Wrigsolar moves deeper inside the warehouse, Bengeirr drops his lantern to the floor, and raises the greatsword to punish the trespassers, cursing in Skald.

As true gentleman's manners dictate, Bengeirr chooses Drostan to be his target. His blade sparks with deific powers, and the towering man's eyes flash with vengeance and destruction.

Bengeirr attacks Drostan: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 for Damage (slashing): 2d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6, 3) + 1 + 1 = 11

The blade hits Drostan and wounds him seriously.

Sagart delivers a blow which Bengeirr deflects with his greatsword. A smug grin on Bengeirr's face soon turns into a horrified scream, as Drostan manages to move behind the Ulfen man, outside of his view, and plunges his axe deep inside Bengeirr's spine, shattering the bone throughout. The scream is shortlived, as the lifeless corpse of the Ulfen warrior Bengeirr falls to the floor.

The remaining guard outside sees what happens to his leader, but instead of being mortified by the gruesome display, he lets out a shout that can only be translated as "DIE!" Furiously the man charges headlong towards Sagart.
